It works very well . Works immediately but it is very strong . Use gloves when dipping your silver.

I love this liquid silver cleaner. It is the easiest silver cleaner that I have ever used. I cannot believe how beautiful my Mother's silver looks. I am so happy I found this silver cleaner on Amazon. I wanted to give my Great Niece, this is my Mother's Great Granddaughter, my Mother's Sterling Silver Dinnerware but it is more than 70 years old and it was very tarnished. The silver has just been in the old silver box for years. I tried using another product but that product was useless. HOWEVER, I dipped just one knife into the jar of GODDARD's SILVER CARE LIQUID DIP, as the directions stated, and within just a few seconds, my eyes nearly jumped out of my head. The knife SUDDENLY BECAME as beautiful as it was the day my Mom first let me, as a 6 year old child, set the Christmas diner table. I was so happy, I just started to cry. The silver dip works perfectly well to clean ordinary silver plate. Cutlery can be simply dipped in it for a few moments and then rinsed, all traces of tarnish are gone. Larger items like a silver tea service or platters can be wiped down with a cloth or sponge soaked in the silver dip, and they also will be tarnish free without rubbing or polishing.

This dip works very quickly to remove tarnish from silver jewelry. However there is no basket in it to hold earrings or chains so you have to hold it then rotate it to get the whole item cleaned. If you drop the jewelry in the neck is too narrow to easily retrieve item.

I’ve been using Goddard’s silver polish for years. Great stuff! Easy to use, requires no “elbow grease” and does a great job. Beats polish paste by a mile, especially in crevices. Doesn’t smell so good but when you wash the silver and your hands after using, it goes away. I highly recommend.

I like the product as it works quickly and there is no mess. I do wish it came in larger containers.

This liquid product is great for silver utensiles and chain jewelry. It cleans them instantly. I actually dunk them into the bottle and pulll them out! (lazy me!) For more decorative silver pieces, like the tea set or the like, I use the silver cleaning cream that is gentler and more preserving.
