Very splotchy and not very red at all
Honestly I was really excited for this, but I don’t think that this brand really hit the mark. I got the red color, and it turned out more of a light pink more than anything. I have a 60 pound pit/lab mix, and I used the whole container on him, just to try and get it to be a red color, but especially after the drying process it really faded. It honestly just feels like a waste of money. It looks splotchy and too pastel, like he was a white sock that I left in the dryer with a pink sock. Bleh.

Wish I read reviews before purchasing
This product dries clumpy. I guess it would work better diluted and sprayed on. I used a paint brush to apply to my dog who has white fur. It was a matted mess (and my dog is a lab so it wasn't his fur's fault). The color wasn't vibrant because it was too clumpy. Again, it might work better airbrushed on? I wish I had read more about how long it lasts, because it's taking several washes to wash it out which is frustrating. If using this product, I recommend putting it on and washing your dogs fur immediately. The color doesn't wash out (sadly) and actually looks better after a wash. I was hoping this dye would wash out after one wash but my dog is going to be an ugly orange color for a long time. Dumb mistake on my part.

Great Temporary Dye
Folks keep in mind this is great for dogs with light fur but falls short on anything darker than grey fur, this stuff is temporary for a reason but great for a short while. Best use case is figuring out the method you want to use for permanent dye using this stuff so you can practice. Washes out easy and applies easy too. Perfect for pranks that have low stakes as I did here on my grandmother's dog, she found it adorable!

Very pigmented
I used on my chihuahua for my mothers birthday. It was great but does stain surroundings, like the bathtub and white tile in the shower walls. Overall the dye was very pigmented and had no problem staying on the dogs fur.

Doesn't work well.
I have a 4 pound pomeranian/chihuahua mix that's very light tan and white.I dyed his ears, tail, and chest. I followed the directions exactly.I used 3/4 of the container of dye on my 4 pound dog, because I had to apply it twice to get color to show. The dye caused my dog's fur to clump together, so I had to brush it after I dried it, causing some of the color to come out.Yesterday I was somewhat satisfied after the second application. It wasn't as bright as I hoped, but was somewhat visible in the super white areas of his fur.Today I got home and the color had already faded drastically. I didn't wash him, and he wasn't in any water. The color just faded. I know the color was temporary, but I didn't think it was that temporary. It lasted less than 24 hours.I'm sure there are better dyes that are easier to apply, and hold their color better.

Rubs off on EVERYTHING
You might as well get some green watercolors and paint your dog with those. A little thing of this didn’t even cover a 5 pound chihuahua- ran out after doing his face and body, didn’t have enough for his legs. Started to use the hair dryer to set it, but by that point he was wet with this stuff and shivering. He usually likes the hair dryer, but he was so cold, then it started rubbing off on me and the towel, and I said screw it and rinsed it all out! I got this because I didn’t want to use more permanent stuff; didn’t want him to be green for a year! But this stuff was not the answer!
