This is a good pencil sharpener, it’s light weight so you need to hold it down while sharpening your pencil, but it is the best dest top I have ever owned for the sharpening quality.

This is a very heavy sharpener that sharpens well, is portable, and easy to use. Very pleased with this purchase.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this particular model. I've had it for just one year, have hardly used it and it isn't working at all. Won't sharpen. Sounds like a light weight motor when a pencil is inserted. I'm giving it a thumbs down!

It's a good sharpener and would be well suited for a home office, but I use it in my classroom. In school, the students don't know when to stop sharpening (some sharpeners stop when the pencil is done and I think they're used to that). We go through pencils at an alarming rate. Also, it's loud. I'm a loud person, but still need to really crank up the volume to be heard and understood if someone gets up to sharpen.Honestly, its a good sharpener - it doesn't tear the pencil up and you get a good point rather quickly, but its not my first pick for a classroom. Use it somewhere where you wouldn't disturb others by using it.

Reasonably priced and works great. Replaced a 30 year old electric sharpener that the motor geartrain had broken.

Works great; had a handful of old, dull pencils and sharpened them up in short order. Done. Looks good on my desk also.

This thing eats pencils for breakfast—and I mean that in the best way. No whining motor, no tragic pencil stubs, just smooth, stall-free sharpening like it was born to do this. The shavings tray holds a ridiculous amount, which means less mess and fewer surprise pencil dust avalanches. It’s fast, efficient, and the red color gives it a bold little attitude—like, “Yeah, I sharpen, and I look good doing it.” Great for home or office, and it hasn’t jammed once. My pencils have never been so pointy.

Quality product, sharpens well, easy to clean, does not run hot like cheap pencil sharpeners. Great for classrooms that need many pencils sharpened.
