My sister no longer has access to shoofly pie and I sent her one for Christmas. She loved it. It tasted great and shipped well.

Grew up in this area of Pennsylvania and I can attest to the authenticity of the shoofly pies. They are absolutely delicious… I just wish they didn’t cost so much.

Gift for my daughter. She loved it.

My Shoo Fly pies arrived today. We I was a teen (many, many years ago) my mother and I loved to visit the Pennsylvania Amish country and having this pie was always part of the trip. I was researching a possible trip to that area with my husband and came across a website that would ship the pie. Then, of course, I checked on Amazon and found it at a more reasonable price with Prime shipping. Boy, does this bring back memories. I lost my mom in 2014 and still miss her to this day. When I dug into this pie it was almost like she was here with me. The only problem I had with this order is that the box is clearly marked “THIS SIDE UP” in bright red letters and arrows. Evidently reading isn’t a skill that is a criteria for hiring FedEx drivers because he left mine on the front porch on its side. So one of the pies had leaked out and was a mess. Fortunately the other one was in perfect condition. That one went into the freezer to be used as a special treat on the dessert leg of a progressive dinner next month. If you love Shoo Fly pie you will not be disappointed with these pies.

About as good as the many Shofly pies I had while growing up in Pennsylvania. My relatives always competed for the "best" pie. This is right up there in quality. Loved it!!

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and shoofly pie was a staple, so I am pretty picky about it. I couldn’t find shoofly pie anywhere in New Jersey, so I decided to order it from Pennsylvania online. I didn’t expect it to be fresh, given the distance and time, and I was right, but freshness was less important than the taste and texture. There was plenty of “goo” on the bottom, which was great, but it was a bit on the bland side. I prefer a stronger molasses taste, and therein lay my disappointment. If the taste were better, I would’ve given it more stars.
