Greenfire All Natural Massage Oil Candle, Lavender Sandalwood Vanilla, Travel Size 2 Fluid Ounce

I love the scent of this candle. It is fragrant, yet subtle, and the sandalwood and vanilla are perfectly matched. I like that the ingredients are all vegetable-based.When cool, the candle is on the waxy side, unlike some other candles that melt almost to the touch, but once melted it turns into a warm oil with a silky feel that applies smoothly onto the skin.The size is good, I think, and ought to last longer than smaller candles of this type.To me, though, there are a couple of downsides. For one, I think it is quite expensive. While I do think it premium quality, and while any of the limited universe of similar products seem to be priced high, I just can't shake the feeling that this is not a good value. I like the candle very much and am happy with it, but I just think it's way too expensive for what it is: a candle little bigger than a tea light. The other issue I have with it is that the container - nicely finished square metal with a lit - does not melt all the wax at the corners as it burns. Even when left to burn for 15 minutes (which are the recommended instructions on the bottom of the candle) on a warm day, a significant portion of the wax remains un-melted and, thus, unusable. This does not help the value proposition that I mentioned above.Value aside, this is a very nice massage candle with a wonderful scent and which feels great on the skin. If money were not an issue, I'd rate this higher. As it is, I can recommend this as massage candles go; for this reviewer, however, there is presently a disconnect between cost and value.

The product itself is nice. However, the wick burned down the middle, leaving the surrounding wax (about half of it) unmelted and unusable (unless I figure out some other way to melt it).

Meant to get a candle, got this massage oil by mistake. Used it, but didn't like the texture. It was hard to wash off. I would not buy again

This candle is all good and fine if you just want a candle (although it's tiny, as people have mentioned). Doesn't work for massage oil. Clumps up as you would expect any other wax candle to if you dripped it on your skin. Should have listened to the other reviews and not bought.

I love candles! More importantly, I love Greenfire all natural candles because they are made of with the finest ingredients and essential oils, so not only do they smell good, they can be used as a massage oil when you blow the candle out! I also really like the petite 2 oz size of the candle which made it perfect to take over my boyfriend's house and surprise him with a romantic candlelit dinner and a nice essential oil massage.He really appreciated the massage and because it's all natural, there was no sticky residue left behind. All of the oil absorbed into his skin and he said it felt wonderful. It came in a lovely tin that would also be perfect for gift giving. Also, because of the petite 2 ounce size they will make great stocking stuffers at Christmas. I know all my girlfriends were very interested in the concept of a candle that can also be used as a massage oil. I did receive this product at a special promotional price in exchange for my honest evaluation and review. I honestly love this stuff!

this candle burns well, and the ingredients are appropriately moisturizing, but the smell is hideous. very, very medicinal smelling. not alluring or pleasant at all.

This candle is 2 ounces of heaven! I love the combination scents of vanilla, sandalwood and lavender. They are some of my favorite smells anyway but combine them together and it's heavenly. The all natural candle is very soft and I could rub my dry fingers in it and get a lotion effect without ever burning the candle but it was much better for my body after the wax warmed up for about 15 minutes burning. I blew it out and dipped in for more and rubbed it on my fresh shaved legs..amazing how soft and smooth they were and the warm wax felt very nice! No more dry knees or elbows for this girl! this 2 ounce size is perfect for traveling, and was such a relaxing thing to use after a long day of tours in Europe.
