swoon worthy and realistic
Let's talk single dads in books... how can you not swoon? In an age where most single parent homes are moms, reading about single dads is not only uplifting but sexy as heck! The bond between Mack is heartwarming and sweet. They are a foursome not to be reckoned with. The opening scene of this adorable family will surely make you smile. Now I want to touch on the "forbidden" aspect of this book. I don't see the age difference or the fact they are co-workers as forbidden at all. Yes, they have a ten year age difference, but they are both adults. And they are just co-workers. Neither is the boss of each other, not really. I don't see anything forbidden about them being friendly or otherwise in that aspect. I did enjoy this book. I liked both Mack and Franny. Separately, they are great characters. And together, they are a great pair. Their obstacles in both cases are realistic and relatable. Any person and parent can empathize with their struggles and worries. I think that is what makes this book so good. It's fiction with so much realness, you can't help but to connect with them on many levels. There were a few times in the book where I felt their reactions to certain things were a bit much, and not necessarily mature considering their ages. Then again, we all aren't perfect. This book is definitely an enjoyable roller coaster. I will definitely be picking up more books from this author.

5 STARS! Loved this sweet, steamy single dad romance!
I’m a relatively new Melanie Harlow reader, and frankly, I’m kicking myself for it. I binge read her One and Only series, the predecessor to this series, leading into the release of Only You, and I’ve been looking forward to this book since. It did not disappoint. I really enjoy Harlow’s writing. Full of feels, her sweet, steamy romances and endearing characters come together into tender love stories that sweep me right up into them.Irresistible, the first book in the Cloverleigh Farms series, spins off of Only You, the last book in the One and Only series. The hero, Mack, is a side character in that story, and Cloverleigh Farms is the vineyard where both Mack and that book’s hero, Ryan, work. I loved that tie-in, it gave this series starter a familiar yet new feel. Mack, a former Marine, was trying his hardest to be the best dad to his three little daughters that he could, but sometimes everything just piled up and he couldn’t help feeling a bit overwhelmed. That’s where Frannie came in. She was his part-time nanny, and she was also the daughter of the Cloverleigh Farms’ owner and a coworker there.I loved everything about this story. I loved Mack, I loved Frannie, I loved the two of them together, and his daughters were adorable little show-stealers. A little bit bittersweet, a whole lot swoony, Mack and Frannie’s love story was one that I devoured in an afternoon. I couldn’t get enough of their story, these characters, and I’m already looking forward to the next book. Five smooches from me for Irresistible by Melanie Harlow!

I am going to LOVE this new series!!
This is the first book in the all new Cloverleigh Farms Series from Melanie Harlow. If there is one thing this author knows it is how to write a great romance novel. I have loved every book that I have read of hers since my first which was Frenched. We met Declan MacAllister, or "Mack" in this authors last standalone Only Love, he was friends with Ryan Woods.Mack became a single dad to three little girls when his wife up and left him. He loves his daughters Millie, Felicity and Winnie with all of his heart. Every day is a juggling act of all the responsibilities and trying to keep his head above water. These girls are adorable and sweeten this story but there is also chaos with them at times.Mack is CFO for Cloverleigh Farms where Frannie Sawyer works, is the owners youngest daughter, and is Mack's part time nanny. I adored Franny she was so sweet and easy going and showed lots of love to Mack’s daughters. There is such a strong attraction and chemistry between these two. Once Mack got out of his own way their relationship took off but there were a lot of up and downs. But I absolutely loved Mack and Frannie interaction they just flowed together and loved their banter. As always with this author this story was so well written and one, I had trouble putting down until I was finished.I will let you read to see if Mack and Frannie and the girls get their happy ending!!I can’t wait for the next book in this brand-new series maybe one of Frannie’s sisters Chloe and April?

Frannie And Mack Find Their HEA Despite An Overabundance Of Expletives, And Insecurities
This is my first read from author Melanie Harlow and I have to say that I have mixed feelings about this first Installment of the Cloverleigh Farms Series. I love small town romance novels but this one lacked the secondary character development that is generally so endearing in these stories.Frannie was definitely a selfless, relatable character, you couldn’t help but want the best for. Mack, on the other hand was way too whiny and insecure as a single Dad which we were reminded of over and over again throughout the story. For a former Marine I would have expected him to have better organizational skills and more restraint when it came to the use of foul language in front of the children. Way too many “F” bombs for my taste. I also was not a fan of the sex scenes. In order for me to develop the “feels” for the characters I need more love making and less raw sex. This story definitely lacked the tenderness and sensuality critical for a quality romance novel. Some readers may not agree and that’s okay. I relate far better to sensuality.I loved the storyline that involved the three girls and their relationship with their Dad and Frannie. These scenes were fairly well written. The last chapter and Epilogue one and two put a smile on my face. All in all, this was a fair read, not great! That said, I probably won’t continue with Book Two because I’m not sure I’m fully invested in this series. I may consider another of her series since her reviews are generally good and give her another try.

Will He Go With His Heart
Handsome ex-marine Declan MacAllister (Mack) is thirty seven. And does not want to get married again and he surely does not want any more children. He is a single dad with three young girls to raise following his divorce a year previously. In bed, he wishes for a Sunday morning when he can sleep naked and late, go for a run or not have to get up to make breakfast for his three kids. But it will never happens!Beautiful Frannie Sawyer is a sweet twenty seven old who still lives with her parents. She also works for them and is a part time nanny for Mack's children. She loves them. Cooking and baking is a hobby that could become a business. But does it?Mack and Frannie both have feelings for each other from a distance. Close up neither have expressed their feelings. Except the night, when Frannie's car is snowed in and unexpectedly Mack's car won't start. Well, one kiss leads to a sexually fulfilled night that they both decide did not happen the next day. But it did. And what happen next in their lives...?You must read this lovely book and find out yourself. You will feel good at the end.

Ideal for a quick afternoon piece of escapism reading.
Irresistible is book one of Cloverleigh Farms contemporary romances.Mack is a single father of three young daughters who struggles with the demands of parenthood. Frannie is his part-time nanny and the daughter of his employer, but he can’t help his romantic thoughts for her when she is around.Frannie adores Mack and his children and has been harbouring a secret crush on him for ages. There’s definitely a spark of feeling between them, but Mack is adamant, with his complicated and demanding homelife, that nothing permanent can come from it.This is a fun and sweet romance with some heated romantic scenes. I particularly liked Mack’s children, especially when they called him out on his swearing and his bad behaviour. Ideal for a quick afternoon piece of escapism reading.

Totally irresistible❤️
Loved this. Beautifully written and totally unputdownable....The visuals that Ms Harlow has described perfectly in this book had me laughing out loud... Mack is such a great dad and the interactions with his daughters are human and real... I love that this isn’t an unrealistic chocolate box family but true family life... warts and all!!Frannie is a breath of fresh calming air to them all and deserves her chance to be a part of their family.

This story was irresistible!!...
....such a sweet read!! Really enjoyed this book, likeable characters, interesting background for the story - really looking forward to reading more of Cloverleigh! It was sweet, sexy, fun, relatable and just a good nice story 😊(I will admit though that I couldn't work out the ages of his daughters! Sometimes I thought one was toddler, then a baby, then a teen, then I hadn't a clue! I know one was 11 but that was in the last chapter I found that out!!....it's no major flaw but I do wish it was a bit clearer!)
