Love these radios
Love these radios!!!! Make sure to wait until they go on sale. Clear sound and easy to program with the software that Vertex Standard does distribute so you don't have to pay someone to program your radios.My only complaint is that if the accessory port gets too tight or too loose it can cause the radios to key randomly, but if you use the digital mode and program names for each radio, you and quickly discover which radio is having issues.

Awesome deal. I bought two to communicate with my evx 539- already had programming g cable and software. I should have purchased 5 when they were 105.00 a piece.

Damaged product
When the radios (2) arrived, the right side panel was missing and when they were turned on, there was a constant beeping noise that would not stop. I thought that they might need additional charging but that did not work. This is my first purchase from this company but I have already returned radios to two other companies. Maybe this review should be for Vertex. Also, every EVX-531 radio should have the same frequencies so that we can shop for best prices.
