It’s solid and sturdy. The storage compartment is surprisingly deep. Assembly was very basic. It comes in 6 parts, 8 screws with a provided Allen wrench. In 10 minutes it’s fully assembled. The top piece with the lid is already assembled, you just screw the lid onto the sides. The size is small, but not tiny. Overall, great purchase. It looks cute and serves a purpose. An adult can sit on it with some spare room, or it could seat 2 kids (for perspective on width).

I have several of Ashley’s Fossil Ridge pieces of quality furniture- the armoire & big trunk. So adding this cute little bench to the mix was a no brainer. There’s only 5 pieces & super easy to assemble- 2 sides, front, back & lid- easy peasy right!?! Yes- it was! It came very well packed & all the pieces were drilled evenly so the holes, screws & fittings fit easily… screwed hand-tight & it’s secure. Since it’s boho style white-washed not all pieces will match exactly- that’s the beauty of the style though…. I’ve used it in my entry way- to sit down while taking off or putting shoes & it’s a great lead-in into my boho style home… or I’ve used it I’m my living room with a throw blanket & pillows as well as in my bedroom where I look out into the East yard in the mornings & watch the birds & my ducks. It’s super versatile, matches anything easily & you can change the look or color scheme by simply adding a colorful throw, some throw pillows or a tray w/ candles, etc… It’s an excellent addition that is extremely useful in various settings & is a quality piece that will last for quite some time. Update: my daughter is a photographer & has used this piece for her subjects to sit or stand on & it’s absolutely beautiful ! Im so happy with my purchase & it’s definitely worth the $$$!! Thank you !

So pretty and storage too in a slim design for tight spaces!

This is a really nice bench, looks great. I like the deep chest for storage. Easy to assemble. It’s sturdy, fits perfectly in the tiny entryway, if you have a small entryway that’s lacking storage consider this piece.

Love the design, however it was difficult to put together as the inserts for the side panels were not aligned well. I had to scrape some of the particle board off on the bottom groove for the paneling to have it fit well, then that process chipped off more than I wanted it to, which I then superglued together. I would rather pay more for a product to be made well, and for the workers to be paid properly in India to translate that into quality items.

We bought it for the front entry way to sit on and put our shoes on since we do not wear shoes in the house. After assembling the bench, it seems very well made and very sturdy. The storage area under the seat is a bonus. The colors fit right in with our decor. We love the front carvings. I did have some slight difficulty aligning a bolt or two but well worth the effort. I was kind of concerned when the box showed up by UPS as it was a little beat up, but after unpacking, every thing was intact with no damaged parts. It is very well packed for shipping. I would definitely recommend and would buy it again. I did put some felt sticky pieces on the bottom of the legs so it would not mar up our wood floors with any movement.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful detail, super sturdy with no wobbling or creakiness. Perfect space saver with a great storage chest. This piece has a whiter (brighter) wash compared to my pics. I imagine each one varies a bit. Shipped in pieces however as a female I put this together myself with no real issues as long as you follow the picture diagram. May seem a little confusing and overwhelming initially while unpacking but once you the first side is together the rest falls into place. Packaged perfectly with no damage. The only thing I would change is the bottom of the chest floor has four holes drilled through it in the corners, I’m not sure what real purpose that serves; personally I would like to keep my chest spider proof since I’m using this as shoe storage by the door. I would like to see stickers included to place over the holes, (matching the wood) so for now I added painters tape to cover until I’m in the sticker buying mood.The Sturdy test-220lb, 6’ hubs gave it a nice sit with no issues and again no wobbles.This piece is worth every penny and yes, I ’d buy again!

The chest is pretty and it came packed very well, plus there was no shipping damage. However, one of the handles was cracked and it was very obviously broken. The packaging was good so it had to be cracked before they even put it in the box. I didn't return it because I didn't want to go through the hassle of packaging it back up and lugging it to a drop off. It's rated for 300 lbs, but I doubt that and I'm not willing to try it.
