The Eye

The King Diamond The Eye cd is a very interesting cd. The songs on this cd takes me back to my youthful days. I have nothing but great memories when I listen to this cd.

Another collection of mercyful fate/king diamond on my list. Yes they all are colored vinyls!!! This one that is purple yet not 180g is still a good vinyl to buy. Very colorful and,bright to look at but,lacks a little on the depth that a true vinyl is to be listed to on a good turntable which i have!!! With a ortofon blue stylist. Little compressed which could have been a double vinyl. All and,all other worth buying if you like king diamond.

When I purchased this, I thought I was just getting a regular black vinyl, but to my surprise, it was a black a purple marble record. The Eye is the fifth studio album from danish Heavy metal Artist King Diamond, who previously was in the band Mercyful Fate. I love this album. King always has the best musicians on his albums. This album is the only one to feature Snowy Shaw on drums and the last album to feature guitarist Pete Blakk and bassist Hal Patino.This is a conceptual alum about the witch trials and two little girls who are playing outside and unbeknownst to them are digging through the ashes where witches had been burned, where they find a necklace with the eye of the witch in it.

This is a review for the 2020 Metal Blade reissue. Sounds excellent. Great clarity. Original master just like the king said it would be. This is the one to get for sure. Purple swirl type clear vinyl. Nice cut. The jacket, labels, and inner sleeve are all a little lower caliber than new Metal Blade releases, but not janky by any means. Includes lyric sheet and plain white inner. If you want an original but don't want to search or pay top dollar, this is a great way to go. A+++

I'm giving the album itself 5 stars,because it is a great King Diamond album. My issue now,is with the place it came from. First time it was sent,I received Blockhead... ok,cool.i send it back and get a replacement, no biggie... Replacement comes,and it's The Rolling Stones.... my luck is crap,so I'm not gonna even try for a 3rd attempt. Maybe another time I suppose.

Comes in a plastic album sleeve but may need replaced due to shipping. Looks awesome in my cave!

Compre este LP o Vinilo por que es uno de los que me hacia falta en mi colección de la época finales de os 80's, la versión que compre es Picture In Disc o Foto Disco son muy raros y difíciles de conseguir, por ello la suerte fue de mi lado, el sonido es bueno del vinilo al igual el estilo del disco, The Eye o El Ojo es uno de los discos menos aceptados por los fans de King Diamond sin duda por lo suave de las líricas o el exceso de armonías fue del contexto usual de King Diamond, en lo personal es una de mis favoritos después de THEM y Conspiracy, claro Abigail es el mejor de la época 80's, un disco muy coleccionable, indispensable si coleccionas formatos o discos de King Diamond, muy contento excelente compra

After losing the best drummer in the world to (in my opinion) the best band in the world 'Motorhead', King Diamond released 'The Eye', this album is more of a progressive album than his past works, which had a 'Black metal', and 'Speed metal' sound to them. 'The Eye' however focuses more on the use of keyboards, and accoustic guitars at the start or certain songs. this is an album that has never been given the credit it deserves, but i can assure you, that 'The Eye' is one of King Diamonds greatest achievements, BUY IT!!!
