Ancient Book of Enoch Kindle Edition

Awesome book. I bought two; one for me and one for my dad. The images that Enoch paints with his descriptions of what he saw are just amazing. The writer Ken Johnson compares the words of Enoch with the Bible and you can clearly see that this book is definitely Holy Spirit inspired and does not contradict what the Word of God tells us. There are segments of this book that Ken says have been added by other sources and he feels that they should be ignored. Don't know why he even included them in this publication. The Book of Enoch is not to be added to the Bible; as God says at the end of Revelation, do not add anything to or take anything away from the Word. Those who add anything or take anything away from His Word will add to them the plagues that will be poured out at the end of days. However, it is evident that God wanted us (the last generation) to know what he showed Enoch concerning the last days. This book is meant to be a source for answering questions about the beginning of creation, about why the Jews took the journey that they did, and why destruction must come upon the earth and those who are rejecting Jesus Christ in the last days. This book is a true revelation of things to come and fills in so much about the Word of God. This book is a must read for every prophecy scholar and for everyone with questions about the Word of God.

Enlightening to put it lightly. Ever wonder why God's people were advised to avoid and sometimes outright destroy certain groups of people in the Old Testament? Why do most cultures tell tails of Giants and intermingling of humans and gods? Well, here you go, add some context to your wondering and lets lay some things to rest in the Christian Community. The Ethiopian church canonizes this book into their Bible. I highly suggest Giants: Sons of the Gods by Douglas Van Dorn to accompany this book, it will help carry the concepts forward from early Old Testament history to modern day.

I have three versions of this book and this is the one I would recommend.The author has a convenient chart of corresponding text linking this book to the bible. He has also shown the various sections of this book. Each page shows you where you are; chapter, section, footnotes. He also inserted words in parenthesis to translate the terms like bull, cow, raven into practical terms for the reader. Not all have the additional parenthetical explanation.There is a section where the author has a spreadsheet for us to fill in as we see them happen but I think it is off. I think he doesn't have the understanding correct. I tried to find another meaning for the text but each of my attempts failed on some aspect so I don't have a better suggestion. :)

I HAVE READ TWO BOOKS ON ENOCH, BUT THIS ONE IS THE BEST. I REC OMMEND IT BECASUE THE AUTHOR GIVES FOOT NOTES TO EXPLAIN THINGS AND REFERENCES TO THE BIBLE AND OTHER RESOURCES. IT EXPLAINS THE PARABLES IN TERMS OF WHAT ENCOH WAS PROPHECYING ABOUT. THIS BOOK AS WRITTEN BY ENOCH FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE ALIVE TODAY. IT PROPHECIES ABOUT THE TIMES AFTER THE FLOOD THROUGH THE 2ND COMING OF JESUS. YOU WILL RECOGNIZE MANY PASSAGES THAT SOUND JUST LIKE THE ONES WE READ IN THE BIBLE. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL THE THINGS THAT ENCOCH SAW AND WAS TAUGHT BY GOD AND THE ANGELS.CONCERNING THE CREATIONS SUCH AS THE WIND, THE SUN AND THE MOON.. HIS PROPHECIES BEEN ACCURATE TOO. KEN JOHNSON'S BOOK IS THE BEST!!!

the history and the balance to Scripture makes you understand you are reading a valid work. This was incredibly informative and encouraging. I have been studying Revelation with a group for about a year and Gensis before that so what a partner this is!I highly encourage everyone to read and consider all that God has provided for us to see and study. I thought that the book was an interesting read. I kept in mind that this is non-Biblical or non-Canonical book. I also kept in mind that the authenticity of the source material cannot be verified, nor that if it were originally authentic that it has not been altered over the years - meaning there was-is no original copy.I am also left wondering if this is actually the Enoch of pre-flood history. If so, and he gave his writings to Noah to take with him in the ark, then Noah passed them down to his son Shem....then what? To whom were they passed, kept and preserved? The Bible is pretty much silent on that as far as I can determine.Bottom line: I had to read this book with some skepticism regarding its author and origin and ultimately its trustworthiness.That is my take on this book.

My sister recommended that I buy this. I do lots of studying in the bible, and was finding that the way the translators put together some of the books in the Old Covenant that it just didn't flow, plus seemed to be missing connecting stories, etc. I did want to find out more about Enoch, the giants, the fall of Lucifer and the angels who chose to follow him. Have read it once through and will use it for a reference later on. Hope to purchase other books by Ken Johnson Jasher,etc.

If you want to know more about where Noah came from, gain insight on the heavenly portals, and to learn about the Watchers and what happened to the fallen angels and their names, this is the book for you. I've learned so much more about the old testament in reading this book. I've re-read it several times to gain more knowledge on the history of the Word.

Accurate portrayal of earth

Truly amazing. This precious book was written long before the Flood and handed to Noah to keep safe for posterity. Fascinating reading.
