RANLEN 256GB USB Flash Drives Waterproof Pen Drive Metal Thumb Drive with Keychain

I thought it was a pretty good deal for this 256gb device. But I've been burned on USB devices before. This one is no different. I thought I'd perform some testing to determine if this device is legit. It's not. It failed to accept the entirety of a 128gb device's data copied to it. After about 21gb was copied, an error messages showed up indicating that the device was now "read-only." Thankfully I was able to unmount and reformat the device to erase it. I tried the test several times, and it failed each time. This is not a reliable device brand.

Flash drive would not accept any files and any that copied over would not open. Tried both quick format and long format but the results were the same

Fine enough flash drive, but the speeds are terrible.Edit: after further testing, I've found that this drive deletes the data put onto it. Not secure and not safe for data, DO NOT BUY
