Can you put a plug on the wires that goes to the battery and plug it into a generator?

If your generator has a 12 volt output you can connect it directly (some generators do). If not, you can purchase a 12 volt power supply or battery charger and use it to power the lights.

Are the red and yellow wires terminated?

They are tined but otherwise bare

Would these work under a travel trailer for extra lighting. Mostly when driving parking at night?

Im sure it will as long u can connect ir to a battery for power than u should be good...theres also a power button click on and off....if u can find a small battery for light a small 12volt battery to connect u should be good..
