Just as good as FlightAware Pro Stick, but 1/2 the price!
I have been using the FlightAware Pro Stick on my two RPi ADS-B feeders for nearly two years with excellent results, but when I saw this for $10, I had to give it a try. First of all, it was a simple swap-out, nothing more needed on my existing setup. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the performance was as good as or even a bit better with the number of positions tracked. I'll be watching the data closely for the next few days, but the initial results were very promising, so much so that I ordered another for my second feeder. For $10 you can't go wrong!

Worked right out of the box
I bought this to build my own ADS-B Flight Tracker using FlightAware. After installing the software on my Raspberry Pi 3B and attaching a separate antenna that I also purchased, this unit worked right out of the box and started picking up ADS-B traffic from various aircraft near me. I'll probably pick up a couple more for some other projects as well!

Excellent SDR for ADSB
This is a well build SDR made for ADSB. Easily tripled the number of hits I'm getting vs. my original cheap SDR dongle and non ADSB general purpose antenna. I've bought 2 sets of this along with the AirNav Radar 1090 MHz Indoor Antenna and it's how I'm upgrading all of my receivers and building new ones.

Aprox. doubled aircraft seen on suboptimal setup with marginal increase in range
Bought this to free up my existing RTL-SDR dongle for a new project, and bought the radarbox stick as a replacement to install in my dedicated ADSB setup. I have a fairly good antenna, although I live in a valley and can only have the antenna mounted a few feet off the ground due to apartment restrictions.I did not expect such a dramatic improvement, but changing the SDR with nothing else in the setup brought my regular hits from average 500-800 aircraft seen to average of 900-1300 aircraft seen depending on the day. I have included screenshots comparing a saturday before and after to show the increase in volume. Range went from ~45 to ~65, although you can't expect much out of my current setup range wise.Installation was easy, just unplugged the RTL-SDR from my RPi running the FR24 image and plugged in the Radarbox dongle and restarted. Picked up immediately, no driver changes or anything required. Overall very impressed.

Cheap, average, “it’s fine”
It works,it’s not special, any RTLsdr will do this. Save money and get the cheap blue one. This isn’t bad it’s fine, it’s not extra like it seems. It offers nothing else. The cheapest one on here will do the same. Yes I’m a radio guy. This is basic. Not bad just basic. If you see one cheaper buy it. This looks extra..it’s not

Good stick, but no different than most others.
Good stick, but not really much different than any others. Ive not done testing, but as its been said, an external filter I think does more than the internal filter builtin to this one. Ive a decent antenna, but an antenna makes all the difference also with this. For overall comparison, Ive a nooelec v1 stick, and it does a little better with its included antenna than this.

At least doubled my ADS-B range
Love it. I had a NESDR Nano 2 with a proper ADS-B antenna on our roof. This has taken my max coverage in some directions from ~60 miles to 150 miles.I had previously configured my setup with the NESDR Nono2, RTL1090 software, Virtual Radar Server software and Plane Finder feeder client on my PC. I swapped out the NESDR Nano 2 with the green FlightStick, stopped RTL1090 and restarted it, and I was up and running in less than 20 seconds.

It is very easy to setup!
After hooking it up to the Raspberry Pi and the antenna then booting the whole thing up, it works great! For the ease of use, I'd recommend this product!

Improved range simple swap. >200nm 💪
Excellent upgrade for ADS-B receptionI bought this to replace a basic NooElec SDR on my Raspberry Pi ADS-B / FlightRadar24 setup, using the same outdoor antenna. Installation was straightforward — I just swapped the USB stick and connected the existing SMA antenna cable. The improvement was very noticeable, especially at longer range. My 150 NM contacts increased by around 69%, and 200 NM contacts increased dramatically compared with the old stick. I also started seeing some >200 NM contacts that I wasn’t really getting before. The built-in filter and amplifier seem to make a real difference. It did not hugely change close-range aircraft numbers, but it clearly improved distant aircraft reception, which is exactly what I wanted.Very pleased with it — a simple, worthwhile upgrade for anyone running an ADS-B receiver or Raspberry Pi flight tracking setup.

Works with a number of flight data companies
When my last USB Dongle failed, I tried a different one. This was easy to set up and is performing well. You can be a flight feeder for a number of companies and get an advanced flight stat account for free. Just need to sign up and connect to this stick through their software.

Works well
I bought this to use with a Raspberry Pi Zero W + cantenna for sharing data with FlightAware / RadarBox / Flightradar24. It works perfectly. Very occasionally I run into a problem where the Pi will stop receiving data due to it not being able to detect the stick, but I'm not sure if this is due to the FlightStick, the Pi itself or the USB adapter cable. It resolves itself after a reboot and I can go for months without having an issue so haven't felt a need to investigate too much further.

Idéal en ADSB pour pas cher
Fonctionne bien mieux qu’une simple clé. Le filtre SAW et le LNA font vraiment la différence.
