I don't like these cleats.1. Traction - GoodTraction is fine. The little spikes at the bottom do stab into the ice and grip.2. Fit - PoorI ordered size M (medium), intended for size 7-10, and attached these to my 7.5 boots (women's). They were slightly loose at the back, but fit snugly in front. After walking for about 10 minutes through the snow, I noticed that my right boot no longer had the cleat attached. It had fallen off!If the back doesn't fit properly, you might need to wrap a rubber band or something around the middle of the cleats and your shoe. Just to make sure they don't fall off in mid-journey, no matter how stupid it may look.3. Comfort - Somewhat PoorAs mentioned by other reviewers, the cleats that should be at the heel are instead at the arch of your foot, making it feel peculiar and somewhat imbalanced when walking. You don't feel it when walking on snow/ slush where the cleats can sink into a surface, but when walking on concrete, it's like wearing low heels in the arch of your foot instead of the heel. I had thought it might be because they also mentioned the cleat was too small for them. But in my case, the cleat was a bit loose and the bottom cleat was STILL in the arch.

Worked really well on flat sole shoes. Did not come off easily, and didn't ruin our wooden decks as much as other spiked claw crampons. However, it doesn't work as well for boots/shoes with an elevated heel. The rear metal tabs doesn't align with the elevated heels, as a result, more of the rubber sole is in contact with the ice, and slipping is more of a possibility.

They are OK and do the job as expected yet the back portion could be an inch further back and the middle cleat in the back should be removed as you feel it in your shoe. The rubber seems to be a little thin and I will have to see how it hold up over time. I have another set that has 1/2 the cleats and the rubber is much thicker yet does close to the same on ice and is better for walking long distances on snow/ice as you do not feel the cleats as much.

This company was excellent to deal with. I ordered these crampons for a rugged West Coast of Canada 55 km hike in October. These crampons were ideal for traversing extremely slippery logs and wooden boardwalks. They were easy to slip off and on my boots for rocky terrain and held up extremely well, especially for the price. I did my hike with 5 others who also had purchased similar items from other sources. Two had purchased $60.CA crampons, one had crampons that were inexpensive as well (fell apart quickly) and myself and two friends used this product. Ours performed equally well compared to the more expensive soles. When slipping them off and on, use caution as if you stretch them too much the cleats can pop out. A touch of shoe-goo or just being aware this may happen can alleviate problem and easy to pop back in. No problems while on the shoe. Delivery was quick. Very happy with product! Medium fit size 9 ladies boots.
