History and Development Since 2013 Obstructures has offered a variety of sizes for the aluminum plate wallet system. Each model's design was based on a variety of criteria: RFID protection, minimal size and weight, etc. Over the past year we've been exploring these criteria as well as other areas of improvement resulting in an iteration that improves upon the features of our two biggest sellers, the A2 and A3. Enter the A4 We've integrated many updates requested by our customers. It's smaller than the A3. It's thinner and lighter. Uses an improved alloy for a better anodized finish; a new urethane o-ring compound; and new tabs for ambidextrous operation. And it has a three o-ring design for increased security and operability allowing a bottom for the wallet for cards to index against.New and Improved Wallet Design A three o-ring design for increased usability; a new alloy for an improved finish; ambidextrous tab layout; the smallest of our three-plate configuration yet; and many other updates. Unbroken aluminum surfaces provide an amount of RFID blocking for potentially increased security. The triangle allows for easy access for cash and frequently used cards. Multiple configurations are possible with up to two compartments as well as the potential for ID and frequently used cards to strap to the back. Includes integrated bottle opener. The new custom-made urethane o-rings perform better than the old nitrile rings and stretch to fit contents. Holds upwards of 18 cards, or more if you can take the increased thickness! Give them a little stretch before you assemble your wallet to break in the rings and have no fear about them breaking. Just in case, a spare set of rings is included.
