in-Transit Rucksack/Backpack Protector - Luggage/Bag/Holdall Flight Travel Transit Cover - UK Based Company

Just returned from a 4 week trip around SE Asia. I used this cover with a Lowe Alpine Cerro Torre 75-100L Backpack, which was stuffed to its 100L capacity, and weighed in at 29KG. This weight did not feel too much for the carry strap or handle to cope with (it's rated to 35KG) - it was just a little awkward to carry (just as you would expect something weighing 29KG to be). The cover fitted no problem, and allowed me to padlock the zipper shut. I would put the bag in the cover while waiting in line for check-in, without any problems. I took a total of 6 flights with this bag, and it showed very little sign of wear at the end of the trip. It's great to be able to remove the cover in the airport and throw your backpack on your back while everyone else is looking around for luggage trolleys. Highly recommended purchase.

I used this to protect my duffle bag when I flew to Kenya. It survived both flights without rips and my bag inside looks good as new. It zips open from the end so is a bit of effort getting a bag inside, but does mean that even if the zip were to come undone my bag would still have stayed inside the cover. There's a detachable shoulder strap which I removed for the flight and shoved inside the case, and then used to transport my bag to and from the airports. It's not the most comfortable thing but does the job. There's also a small handle on the same side as the shoulder strap so you can lift the bag without needing it on your shoulder, which is good for the luggage labels to be put around. The straps were able to support 18kg of weight, but did look a little strained so I wouldn't use it for a long time for heavier bags.

This if value for money if you think you want to be protecting your valuable backpack. This the best one I've seen and for the price it's a no brainer, I've bought other ones before that have fallen apart after 1 flight. And expensive ones that don't offer the same amount of protection. So far this has made 4 flights and not a mark on it protected my pack well.

Description claims 35kg max. The shoulder strap attachment and main bag tore at 18.5kg, at the airport - not a great start to a relaxing holiday. Returning for refund. If it was stronger, it would be ideal - great size, good opening etc.

Travelling to Nepal, I wanted to keep my large and day packs, with roll mat and sleeping bag, safe in transit. This worked a treat. It held all of the above securely, although it was a bit awkward to carry by the small handle( I didnt take the shoulder strap).It survived the trip without any damage. I was very happy for the price!

Good but not very strong for very heavy bags 15kg +.

Purchased this for 70L rucksack, was slightly concerned it would not be big enough but fits perfectly. Material is not very thick but has now survived an internal UK flight and international to NZ, with no rips to material and zips working, so has performed perfectly. Lightweight enough to fold into its own small cover, which can be easily stored in backpack top pocket, when not required. Overall, good value and pleased with purchase.
