After an extraordinary 40-year career, the four-man Hilliard Ensemble disbanded in 2014. This 6-CD collection focuses on eras central to their wide-ranging repertoire – the Renaissance and Early Baroque, with music from England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Mexico.
