I bought this for my flatiron and love it! You can place your hot flatiron in the silicone envelope for travel!

I have only used this mat/pouch on one trip so far (but multiple times on that trip abroad). What I appreciate so far is that I can put my hot curling iron inside it and pack it in my suitcase, which is handy. Sometimes I don't have time to wait for my curling iron to cool completely before I have to pack up and check out of hotel. I also liked having a mat to place my curling iron on in my hotel room bathroom. Often there's not much space and that space may or may not be very heat proof.

I wrote an original review of this item that was negative. While I don’t care for the particular item, the customer service was amazing! Once they knew I was unhappy, they reached out immediately and offered a refund. They didn’t even want the item back...they just wanted me happy. I would definitely buy from them again just for their customer service.

Just what I was looking for. Wanted to protect sink top from scratches when using curling iron.Bonus as you can insert curling iron to take with you when traveling.

This is a really great wand. It works really well although the glove it comes with is terrible. You must buy a better glove separately. Also your hair tends to get stuck and break if you put it close to the black handle. If you can learn to wrap your hair solely around the pink area you're golden

Bought to use with my flat iron in the bathroom to protect my marble counter tops. Works great.

Super cheap and good quality. Pretty thick. It is perfect for traveling because when you're on the go you can put the iron in there hot still. I set my iron on it at home too to protect my vanity top. Lays flat with nothing in it

It is not at all heat resistant. If you put a hair straightener that is even slightly warm (let alone hot) in it you could burn yourself and possibly light your suitcase on fire. Don't buy this unless you just want something to set your straightener on only (not inside of it).

I am too impatient to wait for my curling iron to cool off before packing up and am usually running behind lol so this is very useful. I like the fact that it's a good size mat too because I like to sit on my floor in front of my full length sometimes to get ready and this ensures I don't burn my carpet. I am very happy with this purchase.

this is perfect for travel as your straightener can still be quite hot and the silicone pouch helps so you don't have to wait for your straightener to be cold to pack it in your suitcase

Perfect to protect surfaces from the heat of my flat iron and curling iron. I have not used it as a travel pouch however the silicone is very thick, therefore, I am inclined to think it would work well as a travel pouch. Easily holds both flat iron & curling iron.
