The Lakeside Collection Glass Domed Serving Plate for Confectionery and Baked Goods - Galvanized

I love displaying food in this serving plate. I mostly put desserts in it and they look cute and can be layered. You do have to have a lining on the bottom of this or it will tarnish, but that only makes the display look extra cute! Fun to use and the glass top isn't too heavy so young and old can handle opening the dish for the goodies.

I love this for keeping baked goods fresh and this looks great on my counter top. I line it with foil or parchment paper so the bottom tray stays clean. The glass top is lightweight but nicely made. Handle it with care while washing though. I had no issues with fitting it into the base. For the money, this is a bargain.

I love this glass dome & tray because I don't have to worry about breaking it! It's so light! I did not want a heavy dome for the precise reason of feeling too cumbersome. While it's light, it doesn't feel flimsy. While I love the tray too, it is very light - I would've preferred a more sturdy, solid tray, but it's pretty and I've had no issues. It just sits on my kitchen counter anyway. I use doilies or 9-10" plates for my desserts and place in tray. I do not place food directly on tray & they recommend you don't. The size is perfect for 9" cakes or bundt pans. It's great that you can use the tray two ways as well by turning over. This is exactly what I was looking for. I just hope the tray doesn't rust on me in the future...

So I love baked goods and was looking for a cloche to keep things fresher while looking nice on my counter top. This is perfect. It's not very big, holds my standard dessert plate but won't hold a standard dinner plate. It looks great, nice sturdy glass that's substantial enough that I think it will take being used on a weekly basis, but not so heavy that I fear using it. Washes well, and I am delighted with it. I've ordered a few cloches and this is the only one I've kept. It's great! Oh, and it really does keep pastry fresh longer at least an extra day or two which is just what I needed.

I know that sounds weird but the tray bottom is so tightly spec'd to the cake dome's measurements that only after working it could I get the lid in which of course means that your cake would get all knocked about. After consideration I did not return it because it turns out the lid fits perfectly in a gorgeous old crystal platter I have from my Grandmother and the tray is sturdy with a nice lip for serving up items on a buffet. So, you might not like it as a cake stand but it's a couple of handy other pieces in one purchase.

Love the look of this. Keeps baked good fresh. I ended up purchasing on for my Mom. She loves hers also.

Just want I was looking for! It was the perfect size for my counter top corner and great for keep muffins and treats in. The lid is heavy and well made yet easy to clean. The base is the only downside, I wish it was a little more sturdy it is a very thin sheet of metal and definitely should be dried right after washing to prevent rust from occurring.

I bought this to keep baked goods on my kitchen counter fresh, clean, visible and ready to serve. I would always bake something and then wrap it up in foil or plastic wrap for freshness. Every time someone wanted a piece it had to be unwrapped and then wrapped again. If it didn't get wrapped properly it would get stale. If it was wrapped in foil my family didn't see it and so didn't eat it. This way the cake/muffins/cookies are right on my kitchen counter and convenient for everyone to help themselves! The food stays fresh much longer and it's attractive instead of having a messy lump of something wrapped in wrinkled foil or other wrap on my counter. Pretty enough to serve on the dinner table too! Absolutely LOVE this!

I use this everyday, for cookies, pastries, etc. Friends have commented on it, looks like something their Grandma used to use. VERY NICE!! Good quality!!
