Works great, can take off wine corks all night, light weight but looks great! So easy to use: remove cork from wine and then remove cork from the Houdini

Works well, battery runs out very quickly.

It worked well for a week, then only worked occasionally. I think it is a connection issue, but I'm not sure. I bought it because the last one I had worked so well. How do I return it and get a new one ?

I received this model of Houdini 2 years ago and have used it FREQUENTLY those 2 years. It has worked perfectly until the battery started going and not holding charges. That is to be expected after 2 years of what could be called heavy use. ;)This would receive 5 stars EXCEPT it does NOT have the LED screen as stated. Neither does the red one. I am VERY disappointed in the lack of that feature though the product itself still works GREAT. Just do NOT expect the LED screen.

The description for this item says....the third unique feature is an illuminated lcd screen on the metrokane silver electric houdini corkscrew shows the number of cork pulls you can make before re-charging. There isn't. There is nothing to indicate if it is charging, or if it's charged....you gotta guess I guess!!!

This is an awesome wine opener. Even half charged, it'll still pull out a cork from a wine bottle. Once it's fully charged, I don't have to plug it in for weeks - holds the charge forever. Loved mine so much that I bought a couple for my wine-o friends, who love it too. Great item to keep around.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom. She asked for something to open wine bottles because she just doesn't have the strength anymore to use a regular corkscrew. Mom loves this electric corkscrew. She said its easy to use and she couldn't be happier..

This item does a reasonably good job of opening wine bottles but the battery definitly does not last for 30 bottles as advertized. If I'm lucky, it, at most, will open maybe 3 bottles before the battery dies. What a disappointment.
