Bought the "Family & Friends" version with the grayish background & brown colored lettering. It LOOKS great! Am very pleased! Well worth the price. Will be using my own chain instead of rope they sent. ALSO, bought BLUE heart discs to carry the date someone passed away, to be hung under their Birthday disc. Will paint a disc yellow to carry the Wedding Date & place it under the birthday disc so I don't forget those either. I have many beloved Aunts and Uncles who have passed on & I often forget when they left, so this will help. What a terrific visual aid, all in ONE place, to remember the ones you love and honor them with this small tribute in your home. So glad I stumbled on this. PS: The Blue Hearts are "Elek FX Wood Crafts Heart Discs". Also well done.

Though the board’s dimensions are true to what’s listed, they are not the dimensions of the photos shown in advertising (that’s on me for not really checking the dimensions, but let others beware, if you want a big sign like the pictures show you won’t get it). The board is much smaller than the width of a door and it’s much thinner than expected. It’s just slightly better than flimsy— the tags are not colored (thankfully) but are also very thin and some were damaged and unusable.The links are soft enough to bend by hand to string the tags together — but this also means it won’t take much handling once put together. Also the hearts do not do well as the first part of a chain, since the hole is at the V of the heart it’s lower than the circles and therefore fits oddly against the board.This is the epitome of you get what you pay for. As long as your expectations are aligned with reality, it’s a good little board for a cheap project

I bought a total of 9 of these calendars all in different styles and from various companies. This one was by far the most disappointing and poorly made of them all. The holes to hang it are cut through so you cannot put the string through, the holes to hang the wooden tags are too far up that you cannot hang them from it. I had to buy more jump rings and "rig" it in order to use it. It also had a scratch on the front of the plaque. I put all the effort into making this only to find that it cannot be hung up and quite frankly looks cheap.

Great product, I gifted this to my mother who was starting to have trouble remembering birthdays of her 8 and counting grandchildren. Assembly is a little tricky and the elderly would probably have a little trouble but otherwise very easy. Comes with plenty of pieces. One thing to mention is that the wood tiles you hang will make a permanent marker bleed as you write so think about what you will use to write on the tiles and how that may affect the aesthetic of your writing.

Item just as expected, the sign is not heavy and hangs nicely on the wall. None of the heart/circle cutouts were broken. All in good shape. Easy to assemble, and the picture of “happy birthdays” on the wood sign turned out great! I would definitely order again for a gift for someone!

It is a very neat idea for a gift however, it is smaller than I thought. The idea behind this gift is to do it with the person you give it too because the way it is shipped could be confusing to someone receiving it. I had to add some of the names and number before I rewrapped it so my grandmother knew how to use it. There are no instructions that come with it.

I bought this for my mother in law as a gift. I have not given it to her yet, but I know she will absolutely love it! It came in a box, so I opened it to take a peak cause I was curious to see how it looked. It is just as described, with lots of tags to write name on. If you or the person you are gifting it to has lots of friends and family members, this is a great gift. Im planning to help her put it together, and perhaps even have kids paint their own tags, and write their own names, so grandma will enjoy this gift even more!
