Shoei Neotec II Flip-Up Motorcycle Helmet Anthracite X-Large (Additional Size and Colors)

Other brands of helments I wear a Large (8 5/8"). In the Shoei brand, a Large is way too tight on my forehead so had to move up to an X-Large. This helment is a bit too large and slides down over my eyebrow. I replaced the (9MM) head liner with a 13MM, this helped a lot. I may have to add a bandana for just a little more thickness and double as a sweatband.The video review says it's a very quiet helmet (wind noise). I have not found this to be true. My old half price full face helmet has less wind noise.As for construction, it's great! Very well built, love the removable liner and pads. Love the two visors and flip-up face shield. Well worth the extra money to grab a cool drink or say a few words to someone close by without removing your helmet.My $25 bluetooth from Amazon fit right into the slots and openings. Only took a couple of minutes to install.

Very comfortable helmet, and the sale price made it perfect for my budget.

Normally I would say this is a good helmet however the one I got came with a chip out of the top of the helmet. Being that it sat on my kitchen table in the box for a month and a half, i'm stuck with it. Inspect yours right away if you buy one. They are super expensive and its a kick in the gut to have this happen

I'm a 60.5mm size and a little more round than oval head shape, so I first ordered a LARGE size and the interior shape of the styrafoam (for lack of better word) actually pressed against the top sides of my head so firmly that it gave me headaches from trying it on in my house, so I sent it back and got the XL size.It arrived in a beat up SHOEI box and I could instantly tell that the helmet wasn't new. It was probably a demo, as it didn't even have all the pieces inside the box and had the wrong visor. It fit much too large and was loose on my head.Frustrated, I was trying to decide if I really wanted this, but gave it one more try with an XL again. SUCCESS! I received a NEW helmet (from a different Amazon seller this time...) and it fit much better than the other two helmets. Still could fit a tad better, and I'll probably get the SHOEI Fit Kit to change out some of the interior padding and customize the fit.I love the Anthracite colour and I installed the SRL comms kit which was super easy to put in.- I also purchased the Orange Iridium Visor, which is awesome looking!All in all, I love this helmet, and I am pleased overall.
