We went to Target to buy walkie talkies for our preschoolers, as a means for her to start sleeping in her bed alone at night (her idea). Target had two options; a kids' walkie talkie for about $15 and an adult walkie talkie for $80. Tried the kids one and there was so much static it was rendered useless and returned. Got online and bought these. They are wonderful! No static. They work blocks from the house. Battery life is better than expected. They are small and non-obtrusive. No complaints at all.

transmit button is on the front of the walkie talkie. One unit shuts off on it's own even though the battery indicator says full.

They work great! Have a pretty far range. Very happy with this purchase, my boys love to use them while playing outside.

Work far away as stated. Not for younger children too many options but great for 8 or older

Extremely poor product. The manual says they take AA batteries when in fact only AAA batteries fit. The packaging made it seem like a cheap knock off. They didn’t work and had to be returned. Select a different option.

These worked for a week and now all of a sudden one turns off when the call button is pressed. Reading other reviews it looks like this is common. Disappointed. Will be returning.
