Solid keyboard for the money!
Great keyboard for the $.Owned and paired to an HP Pavilion PC for nearly 5 years now. Keyboard has worked perfectly. Never bothered to get into keyboards until recently and learned that this has Outemu Blue key switches - they're very nice, and I've always liked the clicky/tactile response.Occasionally, I've wished for quieter switches that would allow for typing while on the phone or without waking everyone else up late at night - so maybe will get some Reds.Only complaint/issue - the 'H' and 'V' key caps have some wear on the corner and edge respectively where the LED light bleeds through. It's not super noticeable, but suggests the key caps were made to a price point. Doesn't affect operation of the keyboard at all.

Good for the price
Mixed feelings on this keyboard. It's grown on me over time. I have other keyboards with numerous lighting effects and such, but I usually end up going back to a single static color, or alternating rows.Backlighting on this keyboard is easily the best of the bunch I've tried. Bright, crisp colors, even in bright environments. You're able to get a true white out of this keyboard, rather than the pinkish/bluish mess other keyboards can do. Not only that, you can even get a warm white or daylight white if you want by dialing it in on the software. Looks very classy with all white going on it, especially a warm white.Pros:Vibrant colors. No muted/pastel colors here...unless you've specifically chosen those in the software.BRIGHT backlight. This keyboard's mid-range setting is brighter than many other keyboard's brightest. Can produce true white backlights. I have both a cool white and warm white (incandescent) programmed into mineEvery key can be a different color.Feels sturdyKeys are very clickyKeycaps have a good feel/shape to them.Cons:Only 5 preset slots on the keyboard itself.Only 3 brightness levels.Color patterns must be programmed via Windows softwareNo on-keyboard color patterns, just able to rotate through the 5 presets.Metallic rebound sound when typingNeutral:Heavy -- may be a pro or con based on your preference.Attached palm rest

Excellent for typists, great for gamers
I own a Corsair K95 but I needed a second mechanical keyboard, and I was not ready to dish out 150$ for similar feel. I like the wrist rest and I wanted some macro capabilities, so my list of possible choices was dwindling fast. I settled for that keyboard because I've never been let down by the brand Amazon basic, and it honestly looked like the K95 on the cheap. I love the feel of tactile switches, so blue swtiches were a perfect match for me.And honestly, you can't beat the price. It obviously cuts a few corners, you have no media buttons for instance and they are instead available through function keys like they are on laptop, but to be fair, I hardly ever use my media buttons on the K95 anyway. The keys feel absolutely awesome to type, and yes, they are noisy !, but again, you're ordering blue switches and I'd advise you read about the different blue, red, and brown swtiches before you make a choice. This keyboard has it all, and for a modicum of the price you'll need to dish out for similarly featured keyboard from big brands.

Stay Away. Not worth your time or money
I had the keyboard for less than three months. I wanted the keyboard for business work so that it would be backlit when working at night and the LED colors and it being mechanical sounded like a plus. The lights constantly flickered from the start as is mentioned in many other reviews, so I was aware this might be an issue and it didn't bother me. The keys were louder than expect, but it being a mechanical keyboard, that was acceptable, I just had to pay attention not to type on conference calls. The issue that was the deal breaker was when the spacebar started working inconsistently and then almost not at all. It got to the point I had to bang the spacebar hard in the middle to have any hope it would work. The spacebar not working was a deal killer when you can't type reliably. When I called support for ideas, they agreed I could return the keyboard if I was unhappy with it and issued a return order. What I was not aware of and the agent did not mention was that they would charge me more than $11 for a restocking fee. That was really not acceptable for a faulty keyboard. Why am I paying a fee for a defective product? Horrible way to handle a poor product Amazon. Horrible.

Almost Great
It's a great keyboard with fantastic lighting effects. Probably the best/smoothest lighting effects on any keyboard in it's price range. the mechanical switches feel great, better than cherry blues in my personal opinion. However I noticed on my particular model, the lighting cuts out every 1-2 min and that's not a big deal in it self but the big problem is that this also causes the keys/switches to not register. So you could be in the middle of typing a message or playing a game and your "W" key or any other key for that matter will not register. Which can be frustrating in online games. I might try to do an exchange with Amazon because I really like this keyboard and don't want to stop using it because it's defective.

Potential RGB setting issues with keyboard
Got this keyboard today and like a couple of other users had mentioned I would have a flicker of the keyboard lights. While I immediately wanted to pack it back up and send it back I decided to try tinkering with to see if there was a possible workaround. I primarily notice the issue with R0/G255/B255 I tried R0/G0/B255 and also noticed the issue. I tried playing with other colors and didn't immediately notice the issue. so given I am trying to match my rgb build I am wanting light blue. I changed my settings to R0/G255/B250 and the keyboard seems to be experiencing little to no flickering. I am going to give it a week then if it starts occurring again I will ship the keyboard back. It is likely a software issue and hopefully Amazon reads this and passes it on for a software update. I really like this keyboard so hoping that it gets fixed.
