ARS SA-PM21L Pro Folding Saw

I don't usually give rave reviews, but this saw is incredible. I did a lot of research before I selected it. We used it to remove 20 year old tree trunk thick vines from a tree to rescue it. At first we tried a reciprocating saw and it did almost nothing against the tough thick vines. We got out this saw and it cut through each vine in a minute or two. It was amazing! It took 3 hours of hard use to free the tree. And the saw is still in great shape. And it folds safely into its handle so that you can carry it in your pocket. It's nice to know that someone is still making a quality product!

I bought this saw 5 years ago and have used it for all manner of yardwork when a chainsaw is too much hassle, which in the case of this saw is pretty mush anything under 3 inches. Cuts through wood like butter almost as well as the day I bought it 5 years ago and without a spec of rust. It finally disappeared on a camping trip and I am glad Amazon remembers what I bought - it is well worth the price.

This is a great saw. It’s very sharp and easy to use. The handle is very comfortable. I think this is a well made saw. I used it to clear scrub oak trees on my property and the saw cut through 4-5 inch wide branches without any problems.

I did some research to find the lightest folding saw for a backpacking trip and came across this ARS. At 6.63 oz this is half the weight of similar saws of this size range. This thing tore through 2-4" branches easily and with little to no effort. This is definitely coming with me on all future trips and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a super lightweight and effective folding saw.

Five stars for a lovely professional ARS. Then again, considering their products over the last years, I'm not surprised. This is an absolute dream to work with we handle as a fantastic grip and the blade is longer than most models.

Cut through branches like butter! Hopefully is as durable as it looks. Solid construction.

Unbelievably good saw. Took it for a few kayaking trips. Goes trough logs like knife trough butter. all my friends liked very much.
