A Castle Full of Cats Kindle Edition

This book is brilliant. The text is wonderful but accompanied by the spot-on illustrations, it’s absolute perfection. Several are getting it for Christmas, little kids and cat ladies alike.

We happened across this book at the library and saw that one of the cats looked like ours, right down to the heart shaped patch on his shoulder. When my cat passed away a few years later, I hunted down this book to add to his memorial shelf. The book itself is really cute. The picture I'm providing is of the library book the day we noticed our cat's doppelganger.

Speaking as a lifelong lover of Ruth Sanderson's work, this book has been the most popular of all books Ive read of hers to the kiddos I nanny for. They are twins, which makes reading time fairly difficult, because they don't always want to concentrate on a book at the same time......but when I break out this book? They are wide eyed and all smiles and they just want to reach out and pet the kitties! The illustrations and rhymes are spot on for any age, the twins are 8 months, I am 27, and all of us love reading this book together!

An adorable book for cat lovers or kids of cat lovers. In the story, the cats try to win the affection of someone who is partial to dogs. In the end, the king brings home a dog and the cats make friends with the dog, and everyone is satisfied. Very cute illustrations, and teaches children that the things cats do (scratch things, run around, etc.) are natural and done with the best intentions. It also teaches that cats and dogs can be friends, and about conflict resolution. Overall, a great story and fantastic book, highly recommended. Simple text with beautiful, detailed illustrations.

My book arrived as advertised and was the perfect gift for a friend who loves cats. It is an imaginative and colorful story that everyone can enjoy!

The book was delivered in fantastic shape, and the story is very cute. My baby niece wants so badly to pet and play with the cats drawn on the page.

Just one of Ruth Sanderson's 80 illustrated books for the young. Pictures, pictures, pictures. Love them all and the story is delightful, too. Easy reader for the very young.

A really fun book full of wonderful pictures depicting this cat story.

Bedtime favourite!A queen has a bazillion cats that she dotes on (fish for dinner every night anyone?) and loves but the king is not what you would call a "cat person". The cats try (in cat like ways) to win him over but he is less than impressed with their antics. It reaches a boiling point and the king leaves and then returns home with a massive dog... Which promptly becomes besties with the cats. The king makes up with the queen and all is well. I imagine that castle smells awful.

Such a great story, my dayhome children loved it, I do love it more though, I think it is just so funny!
