Core 10 Person Straight Wall Cabin Tent

Impressions: this thing is HUGE! I'm 6 foot 1 and still got plenty of headroom....like a lot of headroom! Queen size mattress seems small with all the extra floor footage. First day I set it up it poured and rained for 16 hours. I could literally count the amount of droplets on the floor the next day. My way more expensive Coleman would have been soaked. Slowly adding stuff in it but it already survived a very tough first night so I plan to camp in it all summer! I assembled it all on my own within 30 minutes. That included laying a tarp down and not exactly knowing what went where. Instructions in the bag did help a lot though

We had originally picked out a different tent, but that was sold out. We were pressed for time and wanted a large tent. I found this one on Amazon. I had never heard of Core before so I was very skeptical about purchasing this tent. We were very pressed for time, our annual camping trip was only 3 days away. Being a prime member I pressed the order button.We set it up in the rain (you can’t camp without rain) so we had to be very quick.We fit two twin cots, luggage, backpacks, card table and chairs and still had extra room to walk around.Pros:very easy to set upStayed very dry, in a horrible stormHad tons of roomRainfly was easy to figure outOverall material of the tent was greatAir vents on the bottom (which I didn’t know about and they were very neat)Loved the straight wallsTwo doors were very helpfulKept everything dry inside the tentEasy to pack upFITS IN THE BAG WHEN YOU REPACK IT!Cons:The zipper got stuck a couple of times, but if you zip and unzip slow no problems.

This tent was very comfortable and roomy. It withstood 20-30 plus winds one night. It was easy to put up and take down. But the cord inside one of the roof supports snapped while taking the tent down. I tried to contact manufacturer for replacement but had to leave message and have not had a return call. I was able to restring it and tied a larger knot so it would not slip out.

First of all, it has a great amount of space! It was more than plenty of room for our 2 dogs, my boyfriend, and myself. I’m knocking a star, because the bottom easily got some holes in it, so be sure your area is swept well and put a tarp down just in case! Nothing I can’t patch, but still, invest in a tarp as a buffer between your tent and the ground! Setting up is a multi-person job.

Great tent, We just went to Acadia and the tent is very spacious, First night rained and the tent held up very well.Good material and well build. Highly recommend.Tarp is required to protect the floor.

Purchased this tent for a friend, we used it for a winter radio field day. Tent was left up for a week and survived a nor' easter, had to sweep the snow off so we could put it away. Very impressed with the durability of this tent.

Fairly easy set-up. Only issue in two uses is that the ring to hold key (in corner) went from circle to an oval that is ambarely able to hold any longer. Notified company months ago. Have yet to hear back.Would have been 4 stars, but no response worries me more than that.

So far so good! I wish the rain fly was a bit bigger as we've had very small amounts of rain making it's way into a couple spots. We had sideways rain and lots of wind, so all in all it held up well. Could use a few more interior pockets. Great, roomy tent.
