Achla Designs Small Bell Jar

This cloche is great, with a beautiful design. I am using it as a hanging candle holder outside on a covered porch. With a bit of sand in the bottom, a 5x5" candle fits through the top very well and looks good in the cloche. I hook it by one of the chains supporting it to the wall when not in use so the the wind doesn't blow it around and break it.

My daughter wanted this to cover a terriaum she was making, it worked perfectly. Looks very pretty. Arrived on time and no cracks or breaks.

I loved this on Halloween when I used it for a centerpiece. Then when I started to redo the arrangement for my Christmas decorations the top knob cracked when I lifted it up. The crack goes almost all the way around the bottom of the knob and it is very visible. It is too late for me to return but I would appreciate a replacement as this one is obviously defective. Amazon, how do I resolve this? I will be looking into this. Very disappointing!

I was disappointed that the gold dish was not included in the purchase, but it was my fault for not reading the details. I do like the bell jar.

I don't know how these things are manufactured. If they are "hand blown" then that explains why there are a few bubbles in the glass and why it isn't perfectly round, but a tiny bit lopsided, and so I suppose that's to be considered part of the charm. $47 seems like a lot to spend to keep the dust off the special teddy bear that my mom had made from a lambs wool fur coat she inherited from her aunt. But... even the plastic cases that were large enough were similarly expensive, so I'm glad I opted for this nice glass jar. Several guests have commented positively about it.

Great well made product. I use it with small plants that require a lot of humidity in the winter.

I inverted it over my pond, the bell design made it easy to attach to an old plant stand, I fastened them together with some hemp rope. Then sucked the air out and there you have it, the fish love it too.
