I see some so-so reviews on here and I completely disagree. Ours came fast, good price and it's delicious. We also bought a rice cooker and the combination of this yummy rice and the easy rice cooker means we are all HAPPILY eating rice several times per week. Very good. Buy it. :)

This is a staple of our families diet and could not be found anywhere over the past few weeks due to covid19. Pricing was very fair considering price per pound. Package arrived in 5 days much faster than the 2-3 week ETA shown when ordering.

We eat a lot of rice and this makes it more convenient and not have to go to the store so much.

I was really excited to try this rice, but I am disappointed after opening the package and more after cooking it. I wish it had smaller package to try before buying 25lb!As you can see rice is yellow and has a lot of burned parts which I don’t know what are they! Maybe it’s processed rice!? Also after cooking, it feels like plastic! Anyway since I cannot return it I have to eat or donate it.

I cannot find rice locally so after searching on Amazon discovered the 25lb bag. It will last me over a year. I asked the seller what the expiration date was and they explained it just had a production code but would last a long time if stored properly. I put it in locknlock containers so hopefully that will help keep it bug free etc. Bag arrived early in good condition and was very heavy duty. I cooked some today and it tasted fine although Uncle Bens is not my usual brand. I'm sure I'll get used it it--not as easy to prepare as Minute Rice but still only takes about 20 minutes to cook. I think in these trying times this offers a good value for the money as certain products are hard to find locally and in that it has a long shelf life it doesn't hurt to have some extra on hand.
