The bulb has an natural warm glow similar to an incandescent bulb. The size is comparable to an incandescent bulb. There is no warm up like a CFL bulb.The bulb has a slight delay of about one second when you turn it on. I was not expecting this with an LED bulb. Which is a little bothersome until you get used to it.Overall a decent bulb. As the price comes down overtime LED bulbs will be another energy efficient alternative to the incandescent bulb.

I got four of these bulbs and they replicate light just like soft white incandescent bulbs. I will purchase many more to replace the rest of my bulbs in my house. They are for INDOOR USE ONLY. Also they take a fraction of a second to turn on after the switch is thrown but are at full brightness immediately unlike compact fluorescent. Great buy at $9.

Every year I install Christmas-colored CFL bulbs in my outside lighting as part of my decor. In early January, I replace the Christmas ones with new bulbs. I bought these LED bulbs in the hope that I can reuse them for several years rather than having to replace white CFLs. I installed four of them outdoors when the weather was in the 20's (Fahrenheit) and they were absolutely delightful - plenty bright, great color, instant on. Then shortly after the record cold streak (-20's F) in Chicago during January 2014 known as "Chiberia", the bulbs all started blinking as if they were Halloween strobe lights. I will be seeking to return these if I can find the boxes.

The bulbs work for about a year and a half. Then they blink and fail. Cheaply manufactured Chinese product. Old incandescent last 10 times longer than these.

I really like the color of these bulbs they are very bright but warm. Too early to tell if they make a difference on my electric bill.Out of four bulbs 3 have already died just about two years after I have started using them. Other LED bulbs I have bought earlier have lasted longer.

Great color... very easy on my eyes. I doubt anyone would suspect they weren't incandescents unless I said something. Good power consumption. I didn't expect the short delay between the flick of the switch and the lights coming on, but it's not objectionable, and (so far anyway) the lights come on at full brightness. That's a big plus.

I purchased 5 of these to replace my outside lightbulbs that were CFLs. I was pleasantly surprised to find that bugs are not attracted to the light from these LED bulbs. I went from having the flying mass of bugs in my face to bright light and no bug debris. I am counting on these bulbs lasting a good long time. These 800 lumen LED bulbs are brighter than the 900 lumen CFL bulbs they replaced.

Good light color and brightness, but it only lasted 2 days in a ceiling mount fixture. Plenty of cold air ventilation, so I know it wasn't a heat issue. This was bought as a spare in 2014 and has been on a shelf until 3 days ago. Amazon won't warranty it even if the bulb has a 2 year warranty. Who else will back the warranty?? I'm not buying this bulb again; I'm very disappointed.
