It's flawless..... but have to replace the spigot
**UPDATE: 1 month into it and the spigot leaks a lot, mainly at the base. I've decided to get stainless steel after all - just need to carefully pick a good one and inspect it before installation (they tend to have metal debris and stains even before first use)**It's exactly what I wanted size wise, glass lid instead of metal lid (which tend to rust), wide mouth so it's easy to pour water into it daily as we distill water at home, acrylic spigot instead of stainless steel (which, again sometimes rust). Not one flaw in the glass so it looks perfect on the counter. It came well packaged with the spigot already installed. I only needed to tighten it and done! Pours fast too. Highly recommend.

Not worth the time and money
I chose this glass dispenser for water at a mountain cabin where we have to boil water to drink. I bought this item because it was made in the USA and it seemed to have high quality glass. The glass does seem to be high quality but the spigot leaks continuously. Literally a small amount of water streams slowly out of the spigot where it joins with the glass. Why would you put time, thought and craftsmanship into the glass and then put a cheap plastic leaking spigot in the dispenser? I also object to the fact that many people have reviewed this made in America dispenser and commented on the incredibly cheap, leaking spigot and the company does nothing about it. Made in the USA should not mean a buyer should be OK with a company ignoring a quality control issue that persists. Do better.

Customer Support update 2
05/04/22Was finally contacted by customer support. I told them the condition of second unit and they apologized for condition. They said the only thing they could do is try one more time.I received the 2 gallon dispenser today and in direct sunlight could not find any obvious flaws. My mom said it looks so much clearer than any other and she is 90.It is a beautiful glass work. Worthy of:"MADE IN USA".04/15/22I wrote review after a few days of use. Found defects in glass and contacted Oneida & Anchor Hocking. From Sept 2021 to Jan 14 or so tried to get a response and was eMailed they would send a replacement Jan 16, 2022, but I would have to wait 8 to 10 weeks. Never did receive anything after 80 or so days. Started eMails again. No response. Couple weeks latter an Anchor Hocking package was outside. No notice, tracking, nothing.Opened package and replacement had really bad defects, much worse than first.eMailed photos and have never received a response. The original has never leaked in 6 months. My main concern are flaws like this in glass will usually break. Water after all is about 8.33lbs per gallon, or around 20.825lbs with 2.5 gallons it holds.Original review followsNeeded water dispenser to replace good but dated 45+ year old ceramic water dispenser. Mom seen the Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill Dispenser and that was it.Spout is inches from the countertop and requires stand, unless you set on edge which usually ends in knock off accident.Paired with X-cosrack Wood Plant Stand, and X-Chef stainless steel spigot, replacement for plastic spout.__________________________________Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill DispenserItem model number 93339L14 $29.998.84lbs 8.75 x 8.75 x 13.5 inchesX-cosrack Wood Plant Stand $15.99Stand Exactly As Advertised.Wanted sleek but minimalistic looking stand for water container.Easy to install, with included Allen wrench, not Phillips head, thank goodness. Great container, bad spigot
I'm fully satisfied with the container itself, wide, sturdy, attractive.1 of the 2 I ordered shattered horribly in shipment, which I assume is not the fault of the manufacturer (though apparently the seller didn't have control over shipment either?) but is a frustration in that I now need to find a source for a 2nd, which I still plan to do, so that speaks to my satisfaction with the intact item. The spigot is crap. It's the same terrible, chrome-painted plastic spigot that every one of these beverage dispensers seems to use, regardless of manufacturer and design. I don't understand why. The chrome paint is cheap and will peel off over the plastic over time (potentially into your beverage, pfeh) and doesn't even look attractive. I guess 'silver' is supposed to add classiness to the look of the product? If you don't want to use food grade stainless steel, which I understand might be a cost concern, fine, but then just use plain undyed unpainted plastic, the cheap chrome paint is not fooling anyone, and if it is, that's even worse. One star off for needless cheap parts.Note to kombucha-brewers looking for a continous brew container, be aware, the container is great, but the acidic kombucha will absolutely peel the chrome paint, you'll want to replace the spigot for sure. Also while kombucha likes oxygen, leaving a head of a few inches in the container and opening the lid once in a while to refill should be more than enough air access for a healthy mother.I replaced my spigot with a Tomlinson Lever Faucet which is functional and looks just fine, even without the chrome.

Terrific drink dispenser
Love this jar and dispenser. It was easy to assemble - though I did have to tighten the spigot after a leak test. It is made in the USA since it is an Anchor Hocking product. My kombucha tasted good and was unaffected by the spigot. It held as much as I wanted to put in it and is completely rust-resistant. As long as I don't drop it (it is very heavy when full), it should last a long time. Well worth the price.

Good quality spigot and thick glass
Much better quality than my previous attempt from another brand. Spigot doesn’t leak. Love it!
