Dylon Machine Dye Pod, 350g, Olive Green

Bought some towels .. I used Olive green to dye them to the perfect matching shade. Easy to use , no mess, and color stayed true.

This was a complete waste of money. It barely colored my pants at all. Where it did manage to color, it only did so in a couple of tiny spots, leaving 95% of my pants the same color they were before. I have to admit, their powder in the envelopes does work. The only reason I gave this brand another chance is because they’re the only ones that have Olive Green. I wish I had just bought the envelopes to begin with, because this particular product was a total waste of money!

My first time using a coloring product. I have a beautiful warm up suit. Splattered overspray tilex on my top of my suit and I wash it right away and the bleach spits came through. I bought this product and it was amazing. The directions were very easy to work with I did exactly with the description or the directions tell you to do and it came out perfectly the color I had to go a little darker on the color so I had to put the whole warm-up suit together to make it even suit color, pants and top and it came out perfectly. I couldn't be any happier cause like I said it was my favorite suit..

3 of 5 items I dyed were left with streaks and blotches, as I feared when adding the pod. Common sense told me to dissolve first but I followed the instructions. I dissolved the last pod in hot water, stirring until it was completely dissolved (it clumps easily!), then added to the water in the washing machine, agitated for a few minutes, then added clothes and they came out even. DO NOT add the pod directly to anything that you really care about!!!

I love the olive color BUT you need to deviate from the instructions. It plainly states to put open container (with the dye crystals inside) upright on top of garment that is to be dyed. I have a front load washing machine. As soon as I hit start the drum turned over before water was able to dispense. Dark stains could be seen on my garment. I had to dye again using a very dark color in order to hide the stains. The next time I colored a different pair of chinos I added the container after the drum had filled with water. No more stains and a now perfect color.

I recently purchased this product and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The main issue I encountered was with its color retention—the dye did not take to the fabric as expected, resulting in uneven and faded areas. Despite following the application instructions carefully, the final outcome lacked vibrancy and consistency. I would not recommend this product for anyone seeking long-lasting, rich color on fabric projects.

This product is amazing. I had some green material I ordered for use with my Renfaire outfit but it was considerably lighter than I wanted. It even had a yellowish tint. I hunted on Amazon until I found this product. The only reviews I could find were on the UK Amazon and while a lot were positive, a few complained about it leaving residue/stains in their wash machines. Well I'm here to tell you that it left no residue in my top loaded washer (just follow the directions) and my material came out with a deep olive green that I was very excited about. There were no uneven dye marks or anything. Perfect product! Way easier than hand dyeing (from what I've seen) and looks great! If you need something dyed try these dye pods. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.

Ho utilizzato il prodotto per ridare colore ad alcuni capi verde militare ormai sbiaditi e il risultato è stato molto soddisfacente. La confezione è estremamente semplice da usare: basta inserire il pod direttamente nel cestello della lavatrice seguendo le istruzioni, senza dover preparare miscele o utilizzare contenitori aggiuntivi. La praticità è sicuramente uno dei suoi punti di forza. Il colore ottenuto è risultato uniforme e intenso, con una tonalità verde oliva naturale e piacevole. Su tessuti prevalentemente in cotone il prodotto ha aderito molto bene, coprendo efficacemente lo scolorimento e restituendo ai capi un aspetto quasi nuovo. La tinta appare resistente ai successivi lavaggi e non ho riscontrato trasferimenti di colore sulla lavatrice. Un aspetto da tenere presente è che, come indicato dal produttore e confermato dall’esperienza di molti utilizzatori, il risultato dipende molto dalla composizione del tessuto: rende al meglio su fibre naturali come cotone, lino e viscosa, mentre su tessuti sintetici l’effetto può essere meno evidente. Nel complesso è un prodotto affidabile, pratico e conveniente per chi desidera rinnovare capi usurati, uniformare il colore di indumenti sbiaditi o personalizzare tessuti senza particolari competenze. Lo ricomprerei senza esitazione per altri progetti di tintura domestica.

Je n'y croyais pas, et pourtant ce produit m'a permis de sauver un pantalon vert presque neuf qui avait été taché par de l'eau de javel. 'Perdu pour perdu, autant essayer, je ne risque plus rien'. Eh bien, ça a marché, les taches de décoloration ont été couvertes par le produit, la couleur ('vert forêt') est profonde, le vêtement est presque plus beau maintenant si j'ose dire. Le fil des coutures n'a pas été teinté, c'est indiqué sur la notice, mais cela ne se remarque pas. Important : la notice en français ne se voit pas du premier coup : elle se trouve dans un minuscule dépliant juste au-dessus de l'ouverture de la boule, il faut d'abord enlever la pellicule de plastique. Si l'on suit les indications, c'est tout simple. Premier cycle : le vêtement et la boule de teinture. Deuxième cycle : lavage aussitôt, après avoir sorti la boule mais laissé le vêtement. En suite, un programme, même rapide, avec la machine vide, pour enlever les résidus éventuels de teinture. La coloration peut se réaliser à 30 degrés - c'est ce que j'ai fait, le vouloir, en tournant mal le sélecteur... Je recommande ce produit, sans réserve !

Worked exactly as described. Extremely easy. No mess. I have a Samsung front loader that just has basic settings. I used the Heavy Duty setting with warm water. 1.5 hour wash length. Worked perfectly. I had purchased what I thought was a light green dress from Torrid on sale. Turned out to be closer to an Army khaki tan-grey-green than a true green. Not my colour at all. It was 100% cotton so Dylon to the rescue!
