Just What You'd Hope For, and a Bit More
This is an excellent product that does just what you'd ask of it.It consists of a set of thin but tough plastic display protectors intended to cover the main display and secondary display screens on your DSLR. (Order carefully: each set is exactingly formatted for a particular model of camera.) They fit precisely over the two display screens and provide protection against dust and scratches (but they are thin and would not protect against drops or direct impacts.) The product description does not make clear that it includes the secondary display cover, but it does, which is a nice surprise. The set comes as 6 sheets of protective film, each die-cut with one large and one small protective stickers. There is also a tiny glass cleaner rag. You clean the display screen with the cleaning wipe, then peel the film off the plastic backing and very carefully smooth it down over the display glass. As noted, there is one stick-on for the main display and one for the small display on top of the camera frame (if your camera has that) on each sheet; there are 6 sheets in the set.The system works very well, but you must be VERY careful in putting the sheets on the glass. There is a sticky surface on the back of the sheet (it does not leave a residue on the glass) which picks up any kind of dust or hair; if you get anything on that surface, or on the glass before applying the film, it will be trapped under the film and impossible to remove. Even the tiniest bit of dust falling on the glass before you get the film down will cause a bubble under the film that cannot be removed. You are advised to make sure the glass is very clean and then work quickly to get it covered. More hints: on some cameras, the display screen is not perfectly rectangular - make note of this and make sure the film is oriented correctly, because it is cut to the exact dimensions of the glass. Lay one edge of the film down precisely aligned to one edge of the display glass, and then carefully ease the rest of the film across, rolling it out across the glass from the contact edge (think of it like peeling a bandaid off, in reverse); when it is all down, rub it down with your finger or a plastic edge like a credit card. If you get bubbles under the film that are not from trapped dust, you can work them out by carefully pushing them toward the edge of the glass. A few tiny bubbles are OK - they are visible when the display is dark, but invisible when the camera is turned on, and don't interfere with seeing the image clearly in the display screen, or using the control menus. It's better to leave a few tiny bubbles in place than to try to peel up the film and re-do it; you'll just get dust and fingerprints on it.

Not what I expected
I was expecting the plastic hard cover case. Mine broke, so I was trying to replace it. What I received was a plastic film (not a hard cover case). Perhaps I didn't read the fine print well enough and just looked at the picture which looks like hard cover and not a film. In any event, I didn't received what I was thought I was purchasing so I have absolutely no use for this plastic film. I think the description should read "plastic film screen protector", instead of "clear screen protector - anti-scratch"

A great and cost-effective way to protect your DSLR screen !!!!!
Right from the childhood, photography has been one of my favorite time pass along with gardening and hiking. After saving some (rather a huge amount) money, I got my Nikon D7000¬ with two lenses on the Thanksgiving last year. It came with all accessories along with the plastic screen cover (Nikon BM-11) for the LCD screen which is intended to protect the screen from scratches. It was working well and I didn't even think of screen guards until recently when, trying to remove the plastic screen protector (to remove some dust particles which entered below it during trip to Grand canyon and Monument Valley), I broke its hinge and could not fit it back.ADDITION: I forgot to mention that with each screen guard for main 3-inch screen, they also provide a smaller screen guard for the small info screen on top of the camera. Thats good thinking ;)Yet again I turned to Amazon to buy a replacement. I was surprised to see that the price of the Nikon BM-11 was about USD 20. I thought of browsing alternatives and stumbled upon these clear screen protectors. Since they were priced at USD 6 (including shipping) for 6 pieces, I thought its worth taking risk and I bought these. As soon as they arrived (by the way they had sent seven instead of 6, don't know why ;), I installed one of the screen. You can find many 2-3 minutes videos on You Tube to see how to install them. After putting it on screen it looked good and the screen is protected from scratches. In fact I like them better than the original plastic screen. Firstly because of the price and secondly, there are actually clear and you can have a better view of the picture you just shot. The Nikon BM-11 is not fully transparent and the image looks a bit hazy through it.On top of that, I have six of them and can replace if I have any scratch marks on the protector. Don't think I have to replace them soon. All in all, it was a good decision to buy these and I am glad I bought them!!!

Can't beat the price and great protection for your D7000 display screen
The media could not be loaded. This is a review of the Membrane Screen Protector for Nikon D7000.It took weeks for these to arrive, but once they did I was quite happy. Installation is similar to how you would install a smartphone screen protector. You have to make sure your screen is perfectly clean and dust free before installing. Since you get 6 screen protectors, even if you screw up the installation once or twice, you've got plenty of spares.I find this to be perfectly fitted to my D7000 screen. It's great protection and I wouldn't be without one.Recommended.
