Decent quality. Right size for a dinghy sailor.
Pros: Good quality steel that holds a sharp edge. Perfect size for a dinghy sailor.Cons: A little tricky to close. The serrations are a bit too big for the small lines found on small boats (e.g. 3- 4 mm Spectra/Dynema) The inside edges of the scales aren't deburred, which makes blade and spike sticky to close at first, and it scratches your fingernail when when unlocking the blades.Overall it is a very good tool. I only dwell on these niggles because in all other respects, it's a high quality instrument that could be better (and probably should be given its price point).

Great knife, not too big- good for the money clip and around the docks...
Have had the knife for about a week- as noted, the size isn't too large but it's perfect for a handy pocket knife and to use day in/day out. I do think that the fit and finish, is good, but not perfect- edges could be milled more but it's still my "go to" daily knife. I am comparing this to the Spyderco Salt which feels better in the hand but doesn't have the utility of both the knife and marlin spike.

Diminutive
This thing is pretty dainty. It is well made and I like the locking mechanism for the blade and spike but wow this thing is tiny. The overall length is about my index finger and the shackle tightening slot has a coresponginly small slot. I’m not sure if they made these midget sized due to U.K. knife rules. If that is the issue they need to manufacture elsewhere or make an export model.

Good knife. No serrations
Knife is excellent but came without serrations as shown

The picture is not reflective of the knife that they send you.
I purchased the non-serrated blade version of this knife and I liked it so much that I decided to purchase this serrated version so I had both. I ordered the knife shown in the image and the knife I received is functionally and ascetically different. The version shown in the picture allows you to unlock the blade with your thumb which is useful when you're sailing and only have one hand to use. The version they send you has the locking mechanism built into the lanyard ring. This requires you to use two hands to force the lanyard ring back to release both the blade and the spike. I feel this design is quite cumbersome and possible dangerous if it slips while you're trying to get the blade closed (my hands are often wet when I'm using my rigging knife). They need to change the photo so it reflects the knife that they are selling, as you can see from my photos, this knife has a larger lanyard ring which is used for the locking mechanism. I am in the process of returning this knife.

I like the compactness, motion, locking release and capability of this knife and marlin spike enough to have bought a second and to give two more as gifts to sailing friend. To my personal knife I added a 12" piece of bungee cord from the belt loop to the knife. The bungee fits inside the case with the knife when knot in use, stretches enough to allow me to use the knife and saved the knife from the depths of the sea more than once.

Knife Review
This knife is very well made.It is however a little smaller then I envisioned. But it gets the job done.I bought it for my son who is serving in the merchant marine academy.
