Should come standard on steamers
We have already hsed this item a lot and so far it is exactly what we were looling for. We have a steamer and a l kitchen with top cabinets. The steamer either sprayed toward our face or sprayed bottom of our cabinets. Either way was not great. This allowed us to use it either back or at front of counter. It slips right over the steam top and sprays steam out to either side safety. If you own a steamer you need this for your own safety and cabinets.

Harmlessly directs the steam
I love this steam diverter! It’s easy to use and clean, and it’s durable. Now I can direct the steam to vent to the side and not worry about ruining my cabinets. It harmlessly directs the steam off to the right and left, instead of "up." Good purchase!

No more steam on my cabinets or wall
When we moved, the best place for our instant pot on the counter was directly under a set of cabinets. Anytime we release the steam, it’s spraying directly towards the cabinet or if you turn it, it’s going against the wall. This was driving me crazy! This product is such a simple solution! Fits easily on top of the release valve and shoots off to the sides.

Great Instant Pot accessory
This is great for my cabinets. I have an open space for my Instant Pot but the cord is too short to completely clear the cabinets. I felt that steam was bad for them so I’m glad to have this to turn the steam away from them.

Good quality
Works as described, easy to use and easy to clean. It fits great and diverts the steam where you want it. Only used a couple times so far but it seems durable.

Works as intended
My counter space to cabinet ratio isn't the greatest, and I literally have 1 spot that I can sit my appliances that need to be used away from cabinets so when I had to use my air fryer and my instapot at the same time it was crammed and not completely away from my cabinets or walls, so one day while catching up with a friend we got on the topic of instapots and she told me about the steam diverter her mom saw online and purchased for her and I was very excited to find one for myself. I've used it about 3 times now and it does what it's supposed to do and that divert the steam away from the cabinets. Use is simple and using both appliances isn't a chore anymore since buying this. Anyone that owns an instapot should invest in one of these because they work well.
