Clarion CMG1722R 7-Inch 100-Watt Marine Speakers (Pair)

i have a 35 feet bertram boat and these 7" clarion speakers sounds very good and well build for its price i have them install on the flybridge in a matter of 2 week i ordered a second pair and also a 10" clarion subwoofer if you doint want to spend $300 plus on better speakers this is your next speakers for marine use i can tell you im on saltwater fishing 11 month in a year as a charter boat captain and like good sounding systems on my boat.

Right product, shipped on time. Speakers sound great -- replaced Clarion speakers I had installed about 6 years ago -- pay attention to cut outsize before ordering as the cut out size may have changed. I had to cut a significantly larger hole, but that was my fault for not checking the dimensions. They are in and working great!

Cheap, Already showing signs of wear. Not even out of the boating season. Just looked closer at the pair in the stern, they were installed last year, already the whole speaker cracked and gone, only tweeter working. So, won't ever buy again. Cheap.

Doesn't sound as good as the Pioneer marine speakers but was the best deal on a 7" model I found

Replaced my original clarion speakers in the cabin on my 2001 formula. Not a perfect fit. The cone was a little larger but was able to screw them in and get the cover over them. Sound good but if you looking for not being connected to an amp

Can't beat them for the price. They are a little bit bigger than the standard 6.5 inch mid range, which I needed due to the speakers the previous owner installed on my boat. This fit perfectly, look good and sound great. And they are just running off a marine head unit. Will see how they really sound when hooked up to an amp.
