1TB USB 2.0 Hard Drive (MXKA1E001T5001)

So far so good. It's weighty compared to most external hard drives. Looks and feel to be solidly built. 3 colored LEDs to indicate status: Red/orange = Locked, Green/orange = Unlocked, and Blue = drive is being accessed. Drive did not come with much in the way of instructions. The corners are covered in a thick rubber, which may help protect it from drops, though there is no mention of this on the website. It comes with a USB cable that is split to connect another device. Overall I like it compared to other drives I've had. The encryption seems to work. I don't like that drive re-formats after 6 wrong password attempts, which means you'll lose all the data on the drive. It would be better if the hard drive used USB 3. It comes formatted in FAT 32.

I returned the drive because I couldn't not make a backup image of my main hard drive. Ironkey make great products but this item just wouldn't work for me.I have three USB drives and the units work fine.

I just received this and plugged it into my harddrive, and so far nothing, it shows up on my list of drives. However it is locked and I have no idea how to make this work, as I got not instructions when it came in. Not a positive review at this point in time.

Just ok. Not very user friendly.

It would be better if it is an USB 3.0. The read / write speed is not good enough. Satisfy with the over all quality.
