Kuyal Office Chair Mat for Carpets,Transparent Thick and Sturdy Floor Mats

I bought mine almost 3 years ago in Aug. I put it on the carpet in my apartment, at my desk to prevent wear to the carpet from the wheels on my chair. It's not suppose to be used with pile carpet but I rolled the dice because of the price. It flexes a little at each wheel but that's been ok, I'm at my computer daily for long hours and it has held up nicely. It has finally started to have mini cracks and fractures and is breaking down from a lot use. So, for me, it did very well for the price. Time to order another one, so I recommend.

This chair is being used as a work from home office chair, but it seems like it would work for a gamer too. It is relatively easy to assemble (90% can be done by yourself - at the very end it would be helpful if someone was there to sit in the chair to save it from spinning). Controls are straightforward and it is solidly built and comfortable. The two pillows (one for the neck/hard and one for the lower back/lumbar area) are not permanently affixed so they can be used optionally. I am 6' tall so the head/neck one will be a neck rest (I sit too high in the chair for anything else). My feet sit flat on the floor with the chair in its top height - so if you are over 6' 2" it may not work as well for you. Can't speak to the longevity at this point. Would recommend.

At 248 lbs. so far (first day) it seems to be working good allowing my office chair to slide on burba carpet. I do notice wheel indents developing within the plastic sheet almost immediately. I hope it remembers to go back to the original flat shape over night. We will see and I will report back to you. Out of the box its a bit of a chore to unroll out flat using many heavy weights for a couple of hours in a warm room helped.

So it ships rolled up, it's a tough plastic with the rug spikes on the bottom and flat on top. That makes it hard to unroll and to get it to lay flat. It says you can put it under hot shower water to see if it flattens easier but i didn't try that. I just had the kids stand on one edge while i unrolled it. It wasn't that easy but once i got it sort of flat, i kept bending it the opposite way to keep it from rolling up again. So overall, the unrolling wasn't fun. After that i had the kids put their gaming chairs on them and you can't roll around smoothly on it because the plastic although hard pliable wise, it's soft when the wheels press down into it making it hard to really roll around on it. I guess depends on the type of chair wheels, but the kids game chairs that had like these split wheels did not roll well. So overall, it works but i dont think i can recommend it, i'd look for one that's harder plastic.

It's a piece of thick vinyl plastic that should do the job BUT DIDN'T. I measured the 30 inch dimension to be more like 29 1/2" which was barely sufficient for my office chair base. If I roll back an inch or so, I am off the protective covering. Perhaps my bad for not ordering a bigger piece but still. AND it comes rolled up with directions to wait until the plastic reaches room temperature to unroll. One day later, it was definely a two person job to unroll and you will need gloves. One is supposed to weight it down so it will evolve into a flat piece. I'm on my third day and it's still curled at the edges. One week later: the mat refuses to flatten entirly no matter how much weight I leave on it night after night. This product should be sent in a flat box like a picture, not rolled up in at 4 x 4 rectangular box. I would advise a customer to pay a few dollars more and get an equivalent mat from an office supply store in an already flat condition. It is now three weeks later and the plastic is still curled at the edges, I believe permently. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF USE AT HOME, THE MAT HAS CRACKED BADLY AND HAD TO BE DISCARDED! Down to zero stars. I would not recommend this item.

Nice size , just need to find perfect spot under the desk . No cracks , no weird warps or any other issue when unpacking and using them . Worth getting and don't cost to much either

Works well at half the price found in office supply stores. I read the criticisms of the mat arriving rolled so I was prepared for battle. I got my hairdryer and my space heater ready and figured I would need something heavy to pin it down. It was definitely annoying to handle right out of the box but I managed to get it flat(ish) on the floor and then got distracted by something or another. When I came back to it I found the mat had relaxed and uncurled on it's own. There was still a little bend to it on the lip that lasted for a few days. The photo was taken after less than a week of use and there is no bend remaining on the lip. You can see the thickness of the mat, the spiky grips that anchor it down and the type of carpet that it's being used on.

I ordered this to go on a medium pile bedroom carpet where my work from home office now resides. I wanted to protect the carpet from my desk chair. This mat came rolled up very tightly. I understand that’s probably the best way to ship these. So, I asked my partner to come help me roll it out on the floor. He is a very strong man - military - and the two of us together struggled for nearly half an hour to roll out the 5’ of this mat, only to discover that the last 6” has a slit in it across the width of the mat. Not sending it back after all that - probably won’t matter, right? After putting a heater on high in the room and weighing it down with a window unit air conditioner and boxes of books and paper for more than 24 hours, it was finally sorta mostly flat. That was about a month ago. I have one chair with 6 wheels that sits on this mat, or i stand on it. In the last week, sitting down into my chair has caused the mat to splinter twice, so there are now two star-shaped spots under where i regularly sit. The end is *still* not flat. I expected this not to be super high quality, but i also expected it to last more than a month or two. If it keeps splintering, it won’t be doing much to protect my carpet. If it manages not to break more, it’s very thick, and has a nice smooth top surface. The part that was slit actually makes a nice foot spot when I stand, so it isn’t all bad, thus 2 stars instead of 1.

I found this very difficult to undo from the roll it was delivered in as it was very stiff. If I had known how difficult it would be I might have thought twice about ordering but once I had achieved flattening it and weighing it down to keep flat it was perfect for the job required for.

El material plástico del producto es deformable entonces no sirve para una silla de oficina con ruedas sobre tapete. Las ruedas deforman el plástico y es difícil mover la silla. Mejor comprar uno de vidrio.

Worked great for what it's intended for. It does come rolled up tightly, and curls up... so I just weighed it down by books and left it for a few days to flatten the matt out and it worked.

I order two of these and they arrived on January 4 2021. Last week (18/06/21) I noticed a small crack in one of them. On 23/06/21, the other one cracked as well and now every time I roll over it, it gets stuck in the crack and is very irritating. Pretty disappointing both of the mats are already damaged after 3 months of use.

Sehr robust, mußte nach Lieferung erst einmal auf Zimmertemperatur gebracht werden. Dann ging das Ausrollen leichter. Klasse!!!
