Ordered these to wire up a switch for a 12V light. The entire process is pretty easy. The switch it self has a solid, audible click to denote when it's pressed, and the whole kit comes with everything you need for a multitude of installation options.

Bought these to replace the push button switch for my bathroom 12v exhaust fan in my travel trailer. Fits perfectly and did the trick. Screw on button cover is like a rubber nipple which is supposed to make it water tight but it's definitely a cheap housing that cover screws into. Any tension on the wires causes a visible separation of the seam of the housing so I can't see how this is waterproof. I checked other switches in my package and they did the same. Nevertheless it works now. We'll see how long it lasts. I got 5 of them in the order so I got backups. Minus a star for calling waterproof when is clearly not. My application will have moisture surrounding the entire part., However they did include rubber washers with the screw in rubber switch cover so if your application will only have moisture on the switch side, you might not care about the housing separation.

This switch was to replace a faulty switch on one of my ceiling lights on my boat. It was easy to install and works great!

This is a solid button. Click locks between on and off. It wound up being slightly bigger than anticipated so it won't suit my purposes, at least for this project. Glad to have them none the less. Dims of the rectangular bit are 18mm L x 14 mm W x 8 mm H It looks like you'd want a 9mm diameter hole for the threaded post and the post's height from base to button tip is about 15mm. This makes the overall height 23mm. The leads are about 4" You could pry it apart and modify it to lose up to.. I'd say 25% of the length. It would then have an opening for dirt and moisture to contend with, but it could be sealed pretty easy.

Had no issues with operability. Good "click" when pressed. See video. Retains last position when powered off. I used a 3/8" drill bit -- resulted in a snug fit, which is good. Leads are pretty short but I was able to make them work without having to extend them. Came with 18 gauge wire. I can't speak to longevity as I've only just installed them.
