A beautiful king size comforter and duvet set (sold seperately) for under $85.00...WoooooHooooo!!!
This is absolutely the nicest and well made down alternative comforter I've ever seen. It is lofty, all the chambers are filled equally and evenly, it has a very soft finish, there is no crunchy noise and no odor. It is just beautiful! We like our bedroom cool at night with the window open anywhere from 4 inches at around 40 degrees, to an inch when its around zero and this comforter is plenty warm when the outside temps are 40 to 20 degrees. It was nice and warm when it dipped into the teens and single digits and still warm at 5 below zero, the coldest it's been since it arrived two weeks ago. I do have a dual control heated mattress cover that has not been above the low setting since using this comforter and I don't even turn it on unless the temperature falls below 20 degrees. With our old down comforter the setting went up a notch for each 10 degree drop in temperature. My warmblooded husband has never plugged his side of the mattress warmer in, but says that he has stayed toasty warm with this comforter.I've had several expensive 3 season down comforters in the past, but after years of use and washings the down starts coming out of the seams till it looks like there is more down in the duvet cover than the comforter When my husband started to complain about not staying warm all night I decided a winter weight down alternative comforter might be the answer and the search began. I found Good House Keeping's article "What To Look For In A Down Alternative Comforter" online and tried to followed its guidelines, 300 thread count or higher, 600 fill weight for cool rooms, 500 for warm rooms and the poly fiber fill should have a slick or silky feel when rubbed between your fingers. Penney's, Macy's or Kohl's didn't have anything that met that criteria, so I turned to online shopping. I took a chance that this comforter would be what I was looking for and IT WAS just what I was looking for at way more than half the price of the cheapest "on sale" department store comforters that I looked at. The poly fill is silky, not quilt batting, the cover is tightly woven microfiber that does not have a slippery finish, it will stay on the bed even if you don't have it in a duvet cover. It's a little heavier than my old 40 oz down comforter, but not uncomfortable. To be fair, it takes 70 oz of synthetic fill to equal 46 oz of down fill in a king size winter weight comforter.I can't say enough about how nice this comforter is. I also bought the Royal Hotel's wrinkle free microfiber duvet set and it fits the comforter perfectly.

perfect!!!!
This comforter is amazing it is unbeatable in price and definitely worth every penny! It did not smell as some have said and was packaged compressed so if you read instructions that were included and put in the dryer it fluffs right up, I guess if you think it smells throw in a dryer sheet. Anyway this blanket is like cuddling up in a big marshmellow it is so comfortable and warm. My toddler got sick one night and threw up on it and I thought this comforter was all done as it was covered in Orange nasty stuff but I threw it in the washer and it all came clean so it seems pretty durable. I'm so happy I bought this and plan on buying one in the future for each of my kids

Poor quality but warm
Ok, this is not good quality, the material is very thin. I don't know what the thread count is, it doesn't say, but I don't think very high. The stitching is very poor, only a single line and it won't hold up under normal wear. No edging, rolling, piping or double stitching. I will use it until it falls apart (which should be sooner than later) and then buy a better one. It is warm, so it will do for now. I use 2 other blankets with it. I just wanted something to keep me warm when I turn the heat down at night, but also something that would last. I am not so sure this one will.

Good Comforter-Not oversized
This is a good solid comforter that is neither too hot nor too cold. It's soft, machine washable, and looks good. I haven't noticed any issues with craftsmanship and we like the comforter. I agree with other reviewers, the word 'oversized' in the product description implies that it'll look similar to the photo, hanging off of your bed. This is not the case the photo is more than likely a queen sized mattress with a king sized comforter. Ours fits on our queen sized bed, but does not have a lot of extra material to hang over the edges. This isn't a problem with us, but may be misleading for some.

Warm, Comfy, and Soft
PROS:Bed sheets are surprisingly warmer than I thought they would be, so I need to stick out a leg to find that comfort zone. These sheets are pleasant, soft, and light. It is like you don't even feel the sheets over you, but at the same time keeps you toasty warm. I love the microfiber feel it has as it is soft and relaxing. Would recommend these sheets! If you have any questions relating to these sheets I will do my best to answer them so you feel more confident in buying these!CONS:The only downside is that this comforter is white so that means the comforter will turn color more quickly than if you had another solid color that is not white. Also I don't like how there is only one color and that is white..... would have loved to have bought this in black!

Not nearly as overstuffed as I had hoped
I would not say this is overfilled or overstuffed. I was looking for something about twice as fluffy as this duvet. The weight is nice though.

Not overfilled nor overstuffed
The comforter itself is lightweight (wouldn't necessarily call it overstuffed), but it's comfortable and soft. I wouldn't call it oversized either, it barely stretches across our king bed, and doesn't hang down on either side. I won't bother with returning it, because the original packaging got thrown away, but I would not purchase again, nor would I recommend to anyone.

SWEET!! price is nuts for this kind of comfort...GO FOR IT!
I thought it was a bit thinner than expected BUT now that my granddaughter has been using it I appreciate the perfection of its being warm AND cool enough for summer. I also appreciate that I like the lighter sleep than my others over the years....I have 20 grandchildren...so I have been buying comfortors for Yrs .I have to say that for this price I would choose this one anytime over the pricier ones of which I have bought plenty. .My own needs to be replaced...The one I have was much more expensive & THIS ONE...I would choose this over it hands down...Glo (granddaughter) absolutely LOVES it..I am buying 2 more for my other 2 kids...because the price for such a soft but warm comfortor cannot be beat...A note. It is made very well with great stiching & a beautiful look. IF for any reason I wash it & change my tune I will follow up here....
