A solution for shower heads installed way too high!
Lowered our shower head down. We think a former NBA 7’ center installed the shower head at 7’-06”. My wife couldn’t even reach it. I put a ball swivel ahead of this extension and it now works perfectly.

Easy to install extension for short seniors
Being a short senior, it was necessary to extend the shower head in my newly installed walk in shower. I was unable to reach it when I stepped into the shower. This product was of high quality, easy to install and the best value for the money! I would highly recommend this item. Don’t waste money on a plumber; you can more than likely install it yourself and it will be worth it.

Quality product, perfect length extension for our project...
This Purelux 6 inch Shower Arm Extension worked perfect for our shower installation. I slipped a plastic washer on existing outlet pipe before threading this extension on. This washer was to prevent our shower condiment basket from sliding down. I did not find any issue with threads on either end. Using Teflon sealing paste, everything tightened up leak free. Sealing gasket/screen was provided as well. For those sensitive, it's made in China.

Quality item looks great for over a year.
Good threads and no leaks. Extended my shower head lower so water doesn't go everywhere. Good value. I need another for the other bathroom shower so I better get in it.

Solid quality
I bought this to modify the original Grohe shower head for my aging parents (seniors). The shower head base connecting to the wall was non-standard so I could not replace it. Fortunately the base had a standard thread to allow workaround modifications including extension to make the shower head lower & reachable. Since they just needed the hand shower, I purchased the additional Moen Chrome Remote Dock which has worked really well just stuck to shower wall with no screw (cleaned the wall really well before sticking). There didn't seem to be an option to purchase the hand shower wand without the base which we didn't need.
