Mack’s is the only brand you should buy from when it comes to anything ears
I love these. These are the only reason I’m able to sleep. I tried the silicone ones but they make me nauseous and it gets very dirty and it bothers me. I tried the slim fit ones but they didn’t really suit my ear canals. These ones are the best. True super soft and will muffle even the heavy sounds. Will not hurt your ears (you will feel slight pressure but it’s not uncomfortable at all. Generic ones bruised my ears). You have to make sure it goes in the ear canals though for it to work otherwise it won’t do anything/as much. At first wouldn’t go into my ear canal fully it took me a week/10 days to understand how to fit it in my ears (ear canals are curved and unique to everyone). Fit is super super comfortable and soft. Each pair lasts about like 4-5 days. After that even if you wear it deep in your ear canal it won’t muffle any sound. Learnt it hard way. The box has enough to last about 5-6 months (when changed around 4 days). Also wouldn’t recommend putting it in small tight box (I used my old lip balm tin to store it) because if you keep it compressed it will lose its ability to expand and block sound. Overall very early roll and mould and carry.

Very nice ear plugs with a bit of a learning curve
I bought these when we had some very noisy neighbors move in next door (loud conversations, doors slamming, dogs barking, loud music playing, etc.), and I kept getting woken up by the noise early in the morning. The first couple times I used these ear plugs, I wasn't impressed, but I kept working with them, and now I'm so thankful I have them. When they are sitting in the right spot in the ears, they work very well and block out just the right of amount of noise without keeping you from hearing absolutely everything (I like that I can still hear my alarm clock when it rings, for instance). After some experimenting, here are some tips I've found that help me when I'm using them:1. I have small ear canals, and I find I have to roll these to a fairly thin point so that I can slide them into my ears easily. Sometimes, I find it easier to roll the plug back and forth against my palm with a couple fingers. That seems to work better for me than just using my thumb and forefinger.2. Once the ear plugs are in place after rolling them, expect to hear some crackling as the foam expands to fill the ear canal. Also, don't expect the ear plug to block sound until that foam has expanded completely and the ear canal is closed off. This can take maybe a half a minute or a so.3. To test if both ear plugs are in place, after the foam has expanded in both ears and the crackling has completely stopped, try speaking or making a humming noise. If your own voice sounds a little like you're underwater, it's a good sign. As another check, I usually snap my fingers a couple times. If I feel the vibrations from the snap more than I hear the actual noise, then I know I'm good to go. If I still hear the snapping sound, then I know at least one of the plugs isn't sitting in quite the right place.4. For me personally, I've found that these work best when they are just deep enough to fill the entrance to the ear canal. Any deeper that that and, for me, they cause a faint ear ache, so work with them a little until you find what is most comfortable for you and what will work best for your own needs. If you accidentally press them in a little too far, I've found you can very carefully pull them out a bit until they're more comfortable, though you do have to be careful not to overdo that and pull them out too much.5. I don't know if this would be the case for everyone, but I've found that these ear plugs can shift a little if I go from sitting up to laying down, or from laying down to sitting up/standing up, presumably because my ear canals themselves shift a little with the movement. Sometimes, the ear plugs are in a good spot when I'm laying down, but then I sit up, and suddenly, they aren't blocking as much sound any more. The opposite is also true. I'm good when I'm sitting up, but then I lay down, and suddenly, the ear plugs aren't blocking sound the same way, and I have to readjust them. So, that's just something I've learned to watch for when I'm putting them in right before I go to sleep, or if I have to get up for a few minutes before heading back to bed.

Negative reviewers make no sense tbh for the most part..
No idea why so many reviewers are upset with the rebound performance (too slow to rebound). If you want fast rebound (literally in less than 5 seconds), go with the typical orange 3M versions. Though I'm not sure why you would want to; considering how much pressure they put on your ears and how rough they are in general in terms of texture compared to these. These are proper soft as advertised and great for sleeping if the size is to your needs. Some people also complain about these being short... This is also, another good thing, because if you don't a long earplug that goes and tickles your ear drum. Now you might say "don't shove it in all the way", but if the earplug is too long, you can't leave it dangling out of your war whilst you sleep. Why? Because now it's pushing against your ear due to the pillow pressing on the extra-long length that you didn't put far deep enough.Idk, people who review these have to be genuinely out of their minds with the low review scores.Another thing, the way I see some people single finger rolling these in video is disgusting. Firstly clean your greasy hands, you don't want hand residues chilling in your ear canals. Second, roll with your palms slowly, don't press too hard and slowly rotate and compress it gradually. Finally, you if you do the pinch method (also works), don't pinch like you're trying to pierce a hardcandy between your fingers, no wonder the stuff takes so long to rebound when you compress it THAT hard. These are great, I bought the 50 pair just to see if they're any good because the reviews are spelling doom and gloom. I hate wearing things in my ears, and couldn't imaging sleeping with them, but once properly placed, these do the sound deadening work, and they also don't feel like a ton of pressure is in your ear.Lastly, on hygiene, sorry to tell you folks, but these are one time use disposable for the most part, you do not want to get an ear infection using these over and over (touching it with wash hands and fingers re-inserting them back into your ear). If you're at a desk and not doing anything laborious, and aren't sleeping with them. Then you can use them one or two more times IF AND ONLY IF you have dry ear canals like I do (some people have naturally flowy wax, whilst others have hard, dry, and almost rock-like wax that comes out in chunks). If you have flowy-wax, or you're using these during laborious sweat-inducing work. These are strictly one-time use disposables. To address the final sort of negative review about "changing the quality". It's tough, but this isn't something companies get much choice in, unless they're also the plastics chemical company and also the refinery for the raw materials.. Nearly every company on the planet is beholden to supply chains that vanish overnight because some supplier is either done with the business, or done with giving you the price when you first signed a contract. The complaints about enshitification are real, but if the product performs to spec, then this isn't something a consumer can influence a company to do anything about when they have to use another supplier using a slightly different formula. So please, wake up, and understand your earplugs you bought 10 years ago, having a different shade and rebound behavior slightly different to the current is to be expected in the trash world we find ourselves in today.Lastly, understand this isn't anything you can do about it, as companies don't really have a choice. Either vertically integrate and own their own oil fields and extraction of raw materials and do everything from the top down as owners throughout the entire production, or they're beholden like everyone else to a few select suppliers of some of this stuff.Earplugs ain't going to make billions for one company folks, so temper expectations.

Reliable ear plugs that work
Very well made foam ear plugs. No discomfort and they block out any noises near you and those outside the home like barking dogs and lawnmowers. Recommended!

Worked perfectly!
These worked so well for me! They blocked almost all noise (including my husband’s snoring) and were very comfortable - I didn’t even know they were in my ears. I’d buy them again & I would recommend them.

Foam earplugs are tried and true
I’ve always used typical styrofoam earplugs that you can get from any big box store or drugstore. The problem with those, however, is that they do work, but they can be uncomfortable and sometimes they take a while to get placed just right. Sometimes the foam is so stiff that it’s hard to compress enough to fit securely in your ear. Nevertheless, the sound dampening when these are placed correctly was worth the discomfort.I was tired of that. So i decided to try those wax earplug things. I didn’t like those since i found the noise dampening effect minimal, i was worried that the wax would get into my ear canal, and bits of the wax would get in my hair or even on my pillow. No thanks.Next up was the earbud style plug. I was excited about these since I’ve used them during the day to help filter out noise outside, and I’m a big fan of things that are reusable. The particular set that i bought came with a number of different sized earbuds, so you could find what worked for you. Nice concept, but the earbuds were not for me. I found them uncomfortable, so i always ended up taking them out in the middle of the night. The noise dampening was better than with the wax, but still not great. I was also concerned that the little earbuds i placed over the bigger part would get stuck in my ears and cost me a lot of money to remove. One day, i simply couldn’t find these in the morning after removing them—it’s as if they went to another dimension. I still haven’t found them weeks later (i do not have a messy bedroom at all!), so the universe was telling me to get something else.I did a search for foam earplugs since i was tired of experimenting. I needed something that worked since I’ll be visiting a friend soon and taking my white noise machine is not an option as they have a dog. That’s how i stumbled across Mack’s earplugs. I never heard of them before, but they seemed solid. They are more than just solid. They are fantastic. They completely blow the wax and earbud style plugs out of the water. They are superior to standard foam plugs. The noise reduction factor is 33 decibels, which is great, but these are also super comfortable. They are deceptively soft and lightweight. You roll them and they respond so well that you’ll think they can’t possibly do anything. THEY DO. They compress easily and glide into your ear canal. They expand quickly and dampen the sound beautifully. These are so comfortable to wear that i leave them in overnight. I’m a customer for life.

Maybe the best earplugs I've ever used!
I'm here to tell you these may be the best out of all of them they sneak right into your ears beautifully and widen out perfectly you barely even feel them. I use the multiple times until I cannot anymore and then toss them. Macks from what I remember has always been a very great earplug very pleased with this brand and the container is fantastic for keeping them clean and safe. I can get about 2 weeks on one pair so the reusability is phenomenal as long as they are clean! Material is soft and very easily molded into what you need. Who doesn't love a good night's sleep? I wake up more refreshed when I use earplugs, my husband is an avid user of them as well now!

Great product, packaging could be better. Still worth the buy, though
This would be 5 stars if the packaging was individualized. The fact that it's a tub makes it a bit problematic because it's not hygienic. That being said, the color is so good it blends in. Nobody can tell that you're wearing earplugs, and that makes it worth it even if the packaging is not ideal.

Not so soft, hurts my ears
Not very comfortable, would not buy again

Best ear plugs
These are some of the best earplugs I've ever used. They’re incredibly soft and comfortable — I often forget I’m even wearing them. Even when sleeping on my side, they don't cause any pressure or discomfort. They block out noise very well, making them perfect for anyone who needs a quiet environment to sleep. They stay effective for at least 5 uses, sometimes more. If you get the 50-piece package, it's an excellent deal — much more cost-effective than buying smaller packs. Highly recommended!

Super Comfy
I highly recommend this for sleeping. I'm working shift hours as a firefighter. After many years in the service, I’ve developed sensitivity to sounds. Probably because during night duty, we have to be alert even during our short naps. These earplugs solve the problem when I want to sleep at home during the day after my night duty. Not only it is very soft and comfy, but it also blocks surroundings sound very well. I'm a side sleeper and I can hardly feel any uncomfortable effects from these earplugs.
