Eyebrow and Eyelash Colour Black

The fumes from the dye were pretty strong but nonetheless expected. Made my eyes want to shut as soon as the comb got close. That being said try your best not get chemicals in your eyeball. I took the advice from other reviews and I can corroborate that jojoba oil on the skin near the lash line helps prevent staining. Just know that once you add the gel, the pigment develops strongly and almost immediately. So just be prepared for that. To me what that really matters is that the dye penetrated my lash fibers well. Except the roots! It’s hard to get super close to the lash line without smudging the first time, at least for me. My slight struggle could be due to my eye shape. (Deep set/almond/slightly hooded) And I wasn’t sure exactly how much product to use. Either way, I will def be buying again. It’s been a month and they haven’t really faded. Makes my eyes pop oh so subtly without makeup. I felt like I looked like a boy without makeup before with my super blonde invisible lashes. I can’t wait to master this routine so that my roots stay dark. I’m guessing they faded by now because the oil seeped slightly onto my lash lines and the fact slowly our lashes slowly do grow! Lol I would have preferred using something else like a hydrogel for the under eyes and on the lid. Also I’ll probably use another tool instead of the comb(s) provides in this kit. Like a small angled liner brush. I’d recommend this product based on price and qualitative results!

I'm a pro at dying my own brows and lashes. I purchased this only because the brand I have been using for the past few years is no longer appearing on Amazon. This product give spotty results on my brow hair and leaves considerable tint on the skin underneath. But the worst part is that in attempting to dye my lashes, it caused a bad burn to my sclera. It is impossible to apply to the lashes without getting it in your eyes. Now, my eye is weeping and I wake-up each morning with a crust on that eye. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This definitely dyes your eyelashes black, and it comes with enough to redo it like 8 times (just clean and keep the bottle). One thing to note though- it dyes your natural lashes black. It does not thicken them or lengthen them like mascara, so it will not look like you're wearing mascara. It will look like your natural lashes, but black.

The first time I used this product was a little tricky. Used the tools that came with the kit didn't turn out so well for me, but after some thought and a little shopping, I found that using beauty brushes with fine tips worked great. Now I can apply this to my lashes like an expert. Impressed with how quickly the color takes to my eyelashes, I am done in less than 10 minutes. Be careful, it does burn pretty bad if you get it in your eye. Overall great product, love how my lashes look and seems to last for several weeks.

First, I don't know if my eyes are strangely shaped compared to others, but the items meant to be used on the eyes that are included with this are simply too large. The corners (not sharp , they are rounded)of the included under eye patches, seemed to want to poke into my eye. Then the dye, I might have gotten a bad batch, but it did not seem to want to take to my lashes. By following the included instructions, it suggests that the darker you want your lashes, the longer you leave Step 1 on them. So, I left it for 2 minutes plus, then applied the dye, being careful not to mix the two before application, as directed in the instructions. I so wanted this to work for me. I'm sadly disappointed that it did not. I did see slight color change in spots but not the entirely. I see a lot of people liking this, and I wanted to, but it just did not work out for me.

I have long eyelashes and I am a brunette. The product did not make much of a difference to my eyelashes but my eyebrows came out really good. I did smudge a bit of the color just underneath my eyelash line under my eyes, however it just look like I applied eyeliner - for me that was a bonus haha. Persons with lighter hair might not appreciate if this happens or if they spill more than a teeny tiny line on their lower eye lid. the product sticks to your skin and stays on for about 4-5 days before the oil of your skin starts to wear it off. I was fortunate enough not to have had the product in my eye like some others have experienced - thank you for your reviews on the warnings, really made me take care when I applied the product. The product will last a long time as you really use very little of it and its seriously not difficult to use.

I used to use the 1000 Hour lash dye in black, was looking for a replacement. Thought this would work, but you apply the dye to your lashes (after making a developer out of a vitamin c tablet and water??) and then don’t have to remove it. It acts as a watery dye mascara, that washes off at the end of the day. There’s no developing time on instructions- very confusing and had to look up a video to understand that it can just stay on all day. Weird product, waste of money

The fumes from this product burned my eyes. I could hardly stand to have it on. The application was tricky and not formulated well for eyelashes because it goes on liquid, not gel like i have used in the past. Worked fine for my eyebrows but the color didn't really show up because it was tricky to get the liquid to saturate my eyelashes do to the fumes and the consistency.
