It was a used product the book is totally readable. But it could be in better since we only need to read and not draw this book.

Over the years I have perused the software training manuals. The Shelly Cashman Series Microsoft Office 365 & Excel 2016: Intermediate it like most of them. Extremely expensive, complex in organization and frequently hard to read. In this case I was reading it for an online advanced level class. We are done with the Excel portion and the fact that I did well is about 1/3 because the book, my long history with excel and the vastly upgraded ‘Ask we what you want to do feature’. To be fair some percent has to go to Google and U tube. Thinking back on it the text was my last resort choice.The business of complex page numbering is also typical of these manuals and more than a little needlessly complicated. Why numbering pages with prefixes like ‘EX’ and ‘Pa’ is better than just consecutive numbers is one of those software manual conventions others may be used to.More particular to the Cashman series is that the density of information is high, but with each layer there are different font sizes and colors. Higher contrast and larger fonts would be appreciated. Having complex lines and arrows through the example formulas was no help either.This book is in such high demand that having hard copy in reasonable time is asking too much and the 6-month rental was exorbitantly expensive. At that my rental copy was clear of ink marks, but more than a little shop worn. It was hard for me to do things like turning pages. I pity whoever gets it next.

Make sure you absolutely need this book before you buy it! I bought it based off of my school's book guideline before class started, and then found out it wasn't actually needed for the class. Tried to return it (rented the e-book version) and was notified by Amazon that it's not eligible for return. What a waste of money!On top of that, it's not the easiest stuff to understand for the technologically unsavvy.
