Quartz Pendulum Clock Movement Kit with 1 Set of Hands Out of 4 Types to Choose From, for Dials up to 1/2" Thick

Lots and lots of clock movements are available, but most of them do not give sufficient dimensional details, would they work as a replacement or not? Pay your money, take your chances! I bought this one because all critical dimensions were specified and I knew it would fit as a replacement for a failed movement. I took the default for the hands that the vendor throws in, but black had no contrast against the dark clock face. The back side of the provided hands were white, so I just flipped them over, very easy to see the now white hands against the dark clock face. The pendulum worked fine when I held the clock up, but it slowly ground to a halt when I hung the clock up on the wall (using the hook on the back of the movement). Sneaking a peak in behind the clock, I could see that the pendulum arm was scraping against the wall, so I put some spacers on the back, bottom of the clock face to move the clock face, and the pendulum arm out away from the wall. Works fine. I am a happy camper.

I looked at Hobby Lobby first and they only had one pendulum movement. The pendulum was way too short for my clock and the price was about 50% more than this set. So I went to what seems to be my source for just about everything these days: Amazon (where else??).This set worked great for me - and with the pendulum adjustable from 6" to 16", it should fit just about any clock. It's working like a charm after being installed a couple of weeks ago.One warning though: When I ordered it, especially based on the photo of the package, I thought it included all four sets of hands. It doesn't - it only includes one set. There was no place to enter what I wanted and they never e-mailed or anything. So, the set of hands they included was way too short for my clock. Fortunately clock hands seem to be very standard in terms of how they attach to the movement, so I just used the hands I already had.So - if you need to use the hands that come with this set - when you order, be sure to contact the seller and ask what sizes are available and get the ones you need.

Exactly what we needed. It was a little tricky to figure out how to order the hands we wanted. We finally figured out that one must first place the order. Once you do that, you can contact the seller to tell him which hands you wish to be sent. I didn't give this five stars, because we were unable to get the second hand to work. It could have been our fault. We just didn't use it.. Happy to have our old clock back on the wall keeping perfect time.

very nice replacement for my wall clock, though I had to drill 2 holes; it wasn't a perfect fit. Now that I've run it for about 6 mos., it is very dependable, keeps excellent time. The only drawback for me was that the hands that come with it were way too short for my wall clock; they would probably be perfect for most desk clocks.

the clock works very well and keeps good time. the product was a little pricey but USA made. I would have liked it to come with a selection of hands like the photo shows but it doesn't

I ordered this clock movement as the picture very closely resembled my movement. The item I received was not like the one pictured. When I informed Amazon that it was not as described and pictured, I received authorization to return it to AnB Collectibles. I returned the movement and wrote an email to the seller explaining why I was returning it. The reply from them was " You couldn't tell it was not the same movement by just looking at the pictures??? Needless to say, even if we did carry that C battery movement, we would not be upgrading you for free." I give AnB collectibles zero stars for my experience with them.

The company provided good service and what looks to be a quality product (still building clock). I like their ecology-mindedness and explaining themselves on that to the customer. Once I have it running, the star rating may well change.

The clock works was a direct replacement and I used the pendulum and hands from the original clock. Just what I was looking for
