Mark Twain Science Warm-Ups Activity Book, Workbook for Grades 5 and Up, Space, Technology, Earth, Life, Anatomy, Physics, Biology, Classroom or Homeschool Curriculum

Book looks great. I didn’t realize I needed to teach something before doing the activities. Does anyone know of a book that goes with this? One that I can use to teach the topics before activities? Thank you.

I teach 8th grade physical science. This is a great review of past concepts for students. It gets them ready for state standardized testing.

I was expecting this book to be more like the other science books I have bought from this series. With an overview of each of the topics that gives me a good base to write a curriculum out of. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the sample pages are what every page in the book looks like. I will still be using it to help my boys take notes and add mini reviews in our homeschool science curriculum, but I am a little disappointed.

Science Warm-Ups is a great supplement to any science lesson or classroom. A variety of science fields are studied, and each invites students to enjoy science experiments, test their knowledge, or research. I assign one, two, or four warm-ups, depending on the complexity. Students take two to ten minutes to complete each warm-up. It is definitely appropriate for all grades suggested by the publisher.

I paid for a new copy of this book and got one with the cover bent and worn in spots. To some, this won't matter, but if you are like me and love books and getting what you pay for, this review is for you. The inside looks good. No marks that I have noticed so far.

This is just right for a warm-up, an activity for early finisher, or for an end-of-class review. They are easy and simple to copy and distribute to students. This is a company I can depend upon.

Don't know whether it's good, but she's a good teacher.

I have been given this free resource to use in my classroom. One of my daily routines include "bell work". This resource has a wide variety of of warm-ups I can use in my classroom.

Bought this brand new and it came ripped and bent. The book is fine to use, but I paid for something unused and not damaged. Won't be ordering again.
