The first 74 pages of the book amount to the best introduction to number theory I've ever read. I've found the theorem-proof-example-problem format very effective on it's own plus the author adds in helpful remarks often showing how two ideas are related. Most importantly, proofs are very complete and concise - brief but they include everything. Generally the entire book is clean and written very tightly.

very poor English and useless book

The e-book version of this book is being sold for 50% more on iTunes. There has to be law against price gouging and the these special copyright protections scrapped because publishers misuse them to harass the public.
