Boot Scraper Scrubber by Traffic Master

We are using it to clean off shoes before coming into our pool enclosure. It looks to be very easy to use. It seems study. Tried on my husbands shoes and worked very well. Will try manually on my shoes as mine are more delicate.

This works well but be warned that the bristles are very stiff and may damage shoes that aren't made of fairly thick material. I use it mostly on my New Balance shoes and so far it hasn't damaged them but I wouldn't use it on dress shoes or anything except books or athletic shoes. It's easy to assemble and if you choose not to drill it into the ground, the wings on either side make it easy to stand on and then wipe your shoes one at a time. It doesn't always get the smaller pieces of grass or dirt which it might if they had softer bristles interspersed with the larger, stiffer ones.

These boot and show scrapers are made of heavy duty materials and offer two ways to mount them: one of a wooden deck and the other for concrete surfaces. Either mounting method is easy. I’m very pleased with how well these scrapers work after a hike on a muddy trail.

The side brushes are too stiff and too close together. I wear a size 12 and can't get my hiking or work boots through the bristles. They are too close together, and the side of my boots is less of a problem than the bottom. It would be better if the spacing between the side brushes could be adjusted. They are very stiff also, so this would not work with anything other than work boots. The concept is great and I think they almost have it right, but still needs some improvements.

Not perfect. Yes, the bristles are very stiff and the opening is small for a grown person's heavy boot. The combination means that the brush really can get in and clean the dirt out of a lugged sole as well as off the sides of a muddy shoe. BUT, if not fastened down, its really hard to hold into place with one foot while you clean the other. it tends to skitter and move around as you are trying to work the foot through the brushes. If fastened down, the dirt really builds up in the area under the brushes and can really create its own mess. We've all developed our own techniques to use this brush and it has really cut down on how much dirt we're tracking into the house. Now if we can only get the dog to use it

My husband loves this! He takes it to work and before he gets in the car he does his boots. He does construction so you know how muddy his boots get. But this takes off all his mud and he loves it.

The boot scraper itself is great but the baggie containing the screws, bolts, washers and nuts,and the plastic sleeves had been sliced open before packing and half of the contents are missing so I can't assemble and mount it.
