May be fine as a reference book
May be fine as a reference book, but lacks tutorials.Furthermore, the print is too small as well as the screenshots.

Great paper weight
The electrical portion lacks content. Seems like this is a copy of the Autodesk tutorials which are free. It says you should have some knowledge of Revit before you buy this book, well if you have some knowledge of Revit then you don't need this book. If you are just starting with Revit it will not teach you much but it's a start. Very disappointing!

Why pay for training
This book is so relevant to Revit MEP you will not need to look for external training for you team. Just give your new operators or even those that think they know all this book and you will be astounded with what they learn. It covers all topics specific to engineering and also has handy information on collaboration. The real project examples are priceless.

Good overview of Revit MEP, but lacks training potential
This book has a lot of useful information about the ins and outs of Revit MEP 2012. If you are somewhat familiar with Revit MEP and are looking for an additional resource for improving your understanding, this book can get you there. Though, I would not call this an "advanced" topic training guide. While there are tutorials scattered throughout the book, they don't appear to build off each other. And not every topic has an associated tutorial. Therefore, if you are looking for a resource for training other people, this isn't it. Instead, I highly recommend The Aubin Academy Master Series: Revit MEP 2012 by Paul Aubin which is setup as a continuous flow tutorial. In the end, it was not what I needed.

all you'll need
Great book to help get going to understand all areas of revit. The areas covered are a very good general over view of the functions needed to apply to real world applications.
