Have to agree with the top raters
I'm a big fan of Mortal Kombat. I loved MK 9 as it was back to its roots but I just couldn't get into MK X.The storyline on this instalment, if a little far fetched and short is brilliant. But I think the replay value of this game is about the towers of time. It literally seems endless and you can just use every character to learn their fighting style. I dont quite understand the augments and trying to implement them but I'm still working that out.The krypt is like another game in itself and not painfulfully boring like the other MK games and I've unlocked a fair few things with little koins spent. All in all its the best MK since Mortal Kombat 9 for me, the mechanics are good and the customisable moves make it so interesting. Shame people are rating it low because of a drop in price, but with the pre order you had benefits like Shao Kahn and scarlett skins, which was well worth it!Roll on the dlc I say!

WELCOME TO FIGHT CLUB!!
Awesome Game. Took me back to Growing up in the early 90s with the Sega Megadrive and playing on the beat em ups, back then it was between Streetfighter 2 and Mortal Mombat as to which was the best fighting game. Fast forward 25 years and Mortal Kombat 11 truly delivers. I love this game & the fact that you can have both Story Mode aswell as the online fighting 1 on 1. The characters are all brilliant and the gameplay (although very violent at times) is addictive. You can also customise your favourite characters. I would recommend this to both New and Retro gamers for such a good price. 5 stars!!!

FIGHT!!!!!
Fans of Mk will not be disappointed by this absolute brutal gaming experience! This is the most visually stunning game to date with a great roster of characters which they’ll be adding to......long time favourites like Sonya, liu Kang,Kitana, scorpion are also joined by past characters and some new faces. Lots of modes to work through.....story,versus,towers,tournament,krypt.......fight alone or online and enjoy the endless jaw dropping fatalities like never before seen in the franchise. Absolutely epic game play and a must for any beat em up fan

Mortal Kombat 11 A Must Have!!!
Well, as a patriotic Mortal Kombat fan I would say in my personal view that the fatalities are the best, not only because of the creative of them but the contrast of skills and performance of each character and their backgrounds They are phenomenal which are evidently highlighted by the outstanding, astonishing graphics. I would like to highlight Liu Kan as it would be treason not too, not only was he in the first Mortal Kombat being a founding member HE is the CHOSEN ONE! He is the most imperative one who has taken this game to its highest level of fame.

Another great addition to the legendary franchise
I absolutely love the game, eventhough if I played it online I'd probably get a beating from 15-year olds all the time. I won't go into technical details because it's all great, I'll leave just one small gripe I have with the gameplay till the end of my writeup.I really liked the story mode on the MK 2011 (PS3) installment, but I was kinda let down by the same in MK X in 2015 (PS4). Having finished both I was very interested to see how the authors can build another chapter after Shinnok's defeat. I must admit they do have some really good, creative screenplay writers in the company, because the plot is really, really fun to follow. Of course it's a bit out there, but I guess anyone who has played the previous parts wouldn't exactly expect it to be realistic and all. It is what it always has been - the battle between good and evil spanning multiple realms. I like it, and if You've enjoyed the previous ones there's a good chance You'll have a great time playing this one as well. Haven't finished it yet, but I'm very close playing on difficult level for the first time (the previous installments I finished on normal - hey, I never said I was good at this :) .The fact that You can do the "critical blow" or whatever the name is (R2+L2) only once in a best-of-3-rounds fight brings a twist of strategy to the game, which is fun. The mechanics haven't changed much from the previous game as far as I can tell, although You'd probably have to ask some online combo-masters for a more indepth opinion on this matter. The one thing I don't like, which is enough of a gripe to take away a star, is something I've missed since MK (2011) back on PS3. In that game, when the fighters were getting hits, You could see damage to their bodies and professional attire. At the end of a fight they were soaking in blood and had some of the clothing damaged or even ripped off. You could tell they were in a real fight. *SPOILER ALERT - IF YOU'RE EASILY OFFENDED BY SLIGHTLY SEXIST REMARKS DO NOT READ FURTHER* On top of that, Mileena and Sindel aside, the female fighters were really hot in that game. But when they were taking hits their clothes were getting damage too and it was kinda cool. If You've played that game You'll know what I'm talking about - think Sonya Blade at the end of a 3 round fight...MK X walked away from that by making the girls completely devoid of feminine charm (IMHO) and I don't remember the fighter's bodies showing any signs of damage in that game, although I may be wrong - it's been a while since I last played it.MK 11 makes the girls look really feminine again, but the characters are not damageable. It's a crying shame really considering how good the graphics artwork is. That's something I'd like to see brought back in the next installment. That and one more thing - fatalities. I think they're evolving in a direction where they're no longer gory and terrifying. Instead, they seem to be exagerrated to the point where they become grotesque. I'm old enough to remember the first Mortal Kombat back on PCs way back when. Maybe it's because I was a teenager back when that game came out, but I remember the feeling we were getting with my bother when he finished a fight against me with Kano's fatality (he'd rip the heart out) or when I finished with Sub-Zero (took the head out together with the spine) or Johnny Cage (uppercut that took ripped the head away). Those were really simple, brutal and really scary. In these last two installments, I don't have those shivers down my back when I see them done or when I do them.So from my point of view, there are three things to fix in the next chapter:1) character damage when taking hits2) simpler, more brutal and gory fatalities3) bring back "The Pit" as a stage where You could finish someone off by pushing them down on spikes.

Way better than MKX
The graphics, story and endless hours of content make this game the best Mortal Kombat with a very good roster of fighters compared to MKX. Also, the game is a lot more slow paced compared to mkx as it’s more about footsies and promotes a more tactical play compared to a 50/50 rush down game in mkx

Mortal Kombat stays true to its roots
Fantastic Mortal Kombat true to its roots as always... but something just doesn't feel quite right, to me the game feels unpolished, the addition of character customization is very nice but needs more depth.
